"Your highnesses the carriage is ready" came the voice of the coachman as he walked into the stables and in that moment Liam and Wura turned to look at him, he had interrupted their conversation.
"*Ahem*" said Liam as he cleared his throat.
"That is alright, we will be right there" said Liam as he smiled.
"Alright my prince" said the coachman as he bowed and he walked away.
Liam turned to look at Wura as in that same moment her eyes met his, they had finally spoke on an important matter, but they just had to be interrupted, Liam just sighed silently, they would have to continue their conversation another time.
"Shall we go?" asked Liam as he smiled at her and Wura blinked as she snapped out of her thoughts.
"Ahh.. well yes your highness, let us" said Wura as she looked at him.
"Right this way" said Liam as he smiled and he led the way as they walked out of the stables and they walked to the Carriage as he helped her into the carriage and she sat down, as he entered after her and he sat across her as the carriage began to move, and Wura looked out the window as they sat there in silence.
She had many thoughts running through her mind, and they all involved one person… it was Liam, just what was he playing at asking her such questions?? She could not understand, as far as she knew, it felt like he was asking her for something more… something that she was not ready to give at all, she did not want to fall, it was never in her plan to, and well now that he said it, she could not stop her thoughts from raging.
Did that mean that he wanted more as well?? But as far as she knew, they were not close like that? And they only recently got back into good terms with each other, and that was just yesterday evening, oh, this was just all too frustrating, things were moving too fast for her to comprehend, things that she had never thought of before, just began to rush into her mind.
"I believe that you would need this" said Liam as he smiled and he placed a leather pouch in her hands.
"What do you…" said Wura as she looked down at her hands and she opened the pouch as she scolded herself internally.
"Oh… thank you your highness… I completely forgot" said Wura as she laughed at her stupidity, they were going to the market and yet she had not even thought that they would need money, she really was absent minded, if not for Lia, who thought about it in time, they would have gone to the market in vain.
"No need to thank me" said Liam as he smiled, he could tell that she had many thoughts racing through her mind, he only hoped that he could know what she was thinking about.
"Well I will thank you anyway" said Wura as she smiled at him and he smiled back at her.
"Something seems to be bothering you" said Liam as he smiled.
"Well…yes" said Wura as she replied honestly, there was no point in hiding, she hated that her face always betrayed her.
"Would you care to share on what bothers you so?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Well no, I would rather not your highness, please forgive me" said Wura, as she herself did not know what truly bothered her, was it Liam, or something else??
"That is alright, you do not need forgiveness for anything" said Liam as he smiled, at least he had tried, and if she had declined it was her right to, she was her own person after all, and he was his own.
"Thank you for understanding your highness" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled at her, how he wished that she would just call him Liam, but that was a step she was not willing to take, it was a wall she did not want to climb, and he did not know why that affected him so much?
Wura went back to looking out the window, she was glad that things between her and Liam were better now, she liked it better this way, but at the same time… she truly was scared, she felt like they were getting too close, and she did not know what to do at all.
The Carriage was silent for the entire ride to the market, with Liam and Wura both deep in their own thoughts and they had both not even noticed that they had arrived at the market already, until the coachman had informed them.
Liam helped Wura down from the carriage and she smiled at him as she thanked him and he smiled at her as he told the coachman that they would return soon.
"You forget something your highness" said Wura as she looked at Liam and she laughed.
"Oh and what is that?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"You have not covered your face" said Wura as she laughed and Liam realized that it was true.
"Well it slipped my mind" said Liam as he laughed and he covered the hood of the read cloak he was wearing over his head.
"Now that is much more better" said Wura as she smiled.
"Shall we?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Of course" said Wura as she smiled and she walked into the market as Liam followed after her.
The market was bustling, with people everywhere buying what they needed, each seller was in their respective stalls as they called for customers, Liam was surprised, he had never been to a place like this before, there were just so many people, and well as Wura had said earlier, the market was just so crowded.
Meanwhile Wura was busy in her mind, thinking of what they needed to buy for the Castle, there were many things they needed, eggs, meat, some seasonings and all that, so Wura stopped in front of a stall with a woman that had eggs lined on her table.
"Good Morrow" said Wura as she smiled.
"Good Morrow" said the woman as she smiled.
"Ten eggs please" said Wura as she smiled, she figured out that would be enough for them until the maids returned.
"Alright" said the woman as she packed ten eggs for Wura in a leather bag as she gave Wura the bag.
"That would be two gold coins please" said the woman as her voice could barely be heard in the noisy market.
"Here you go" said Wura as she smiled and she brought out two coins from the pouch Liam gave her and she handed it to the woman.
"Thank you" said the woman and Wura smiled as she walked away.
"I can carry that for you" said Liam as he smiled.
"Oh… thank you your highness" said Wura as she smiled and she gave the bag of eggs to Liam as he smiled at her, so this was how it felt to go to the market, it was very noisy he would say, but overall, Wura seemed to really know her way around the market.
"You are welcome" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him as she walked on.
She went to five different stalls and Liam followed after her as he offered to carry everything she had bought for her, and she gladly agreed.
"Are you sure that this is not enough?" asked Liam as he walked behind Wura.
"Well not just yet" said Wura as she smiled, she needed meat, she had decided to make some stew for dinner tonight, so she stopped in front of a butcher's stall.
"Good Morrow" said the butcher as he smiled at Wura.
"Good Morrow" said Wura as she smiled at him.
"I would like your finest cuts of lamb" said Wura as she smiled.
"Alright, for how much?" asked the butcher as he sharpened his butchering knife.
"For five coins please" said Wura as she smiled.
"Alright" said the butcher as he swiftly cut of parts of his finest lamb and he packed them up in a leather bag which Liam collected for Wura.
"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled and the butcher smiled at her, he knew almost everyone in Cornwalk seeing as they all bought meat from him, but he had never seen this young maiden and the man following her before, he wondered if they were visitors.
"You are welcome" said the Butcher as he smiled and Wura and Liam moved on.
"Are you done now?" asked Liam as he smiled happily.
"Well yes, yes I am" said Wura as she smiled and they walked to return to the entrance.
"Alright then" said Liam as he sighed, he had been carrying every single thing that she had bought, and not to complain, but they were getting heavy to carry, and he had to be careful with the eggs.
"Are you sure that you do not want me to help you carry something?" asked Wura as she turned to look at Liam.
"Ahh, well no, it is alright" said Liam as he smiled, and Wura laughed, she had to admit that he looked silly carrying all of that with his red cloak, but since he had refused, she would leave him be, maybe he was enjoying carrying all of that.
