The next day.
"My Princess, you called for me?" asked Nora as she walked into Wura's room and she bowed her head, she had left to attend to an important matter.
"Yes Nora" said Wura as she looked up.
"Are you done with the important matter that you needed to attend to?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Well yes my princess, I am" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Great!" said Wura as she smiled, she looked very excited.
"I would like to take a tour of the Castle today" said Wura as she smiled.
"Will you be able to come along with me?" asked Wura as she smiled at Nora brightly.
"Of course my princess, my duty is to serve you" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled happily, last night she had been thinking, and she had decided that she would not be going anywhere anytime soon, so it would be better if she started to get used to the Castle.
Event though she knew that Nora would never say it, she felt like she was very annoying when she needed Nora to escort her everywhere she needed to go, Nora was too kind to think that way, but for the sake of her own sanity, and not getting lost again, she would need to at least know her way a bit around the Castle.
"It is my pleasure my lady" said Nora as she bowed her head.
"Have you eaten breakfast yet Nora?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Yes my princess, I have" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"So can we go now?" asked Wura, she had grown weary of doing nothing but being in her room all day, she could tell you that she had memorized every brick in the wall, and it's colour.
"Of course my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head and she smiled.
"Alright, let us go" said Wura as she smiled and she stood up.
"Please follow me my princess" said Nora.
"Lead the way" said Wura as she smiled and she followed after Nora.
…
"Father, you do know that you are behaving in a childish manner" said Liam as he sighed and he shook his head.
"My boy, I have told you countless times that I am feeling perfectly fine" said Alaric as he frowned, Liam had not let him move at all.
In fact he was tucked in his bed right now, and Liam was watching over him, making sure that he would get the right amount of rest that he needed.
"And yet I tell you that you need rest Father" said Liam as it felt like he was arguing with a spoilt little child.
"Who is your father here?" asked Alaric.
"And who is the King that needs to take care of himself here?" asked Liam as he threw the question back to Alaric.
"I have rested enough, I have many matters to attend to" said Alaric.
"But you did say that you were feeling a bit lightheaded father" said Liam.
"That was then, but now I am better" said Alaric.
"*Sigh*, Oh Father, you do know that I am more than capable to handle all the matters you are unable to" said Liam as he sighed.
"And my boy, you do know how I do not like to be idle at all" said Alaric.
"The Idle mind is the devil's workshop" said Alaric as he nodded his head and Liam shook his head, his father could argue till the last breath in his body.
"Do you not know that King David was idle, and that was what caused him to sink into adultery and murder" said Alaric.
"And Father, you do know that King David, was still a young man at that time, which was why he was able to sink into adultery" said Liam.
"You on the other hand are very old enough as to not commit adultery" said Liam as he smiled at his father.
"I do take that as an offence my boy" said Alaric as he laughed.
"And yet you laugh as if you are not offended" said Liam as he laughed and he shook his head, he hoped this would not how he would be when he was like his Father's age, old and wrinkly, he would not like to give his children any trouble at all.
"You should be happy that I laugh with you my boy" said Alaric as he laughed.
"My father, your Grandfather, was always so serious, he never once laughed with me, or played with me, not in the same way that I did for you" said Alaric as he smiled.
"And for that I am grateful that I have such a wonderful, loving father, who only wants the best for me" said Liam as he smiled and he bent down beside his father's bed and he held Alaric's hand in his.
"But the same way in which you care for me, I too care for you as well, and I want you to live for as long as possible father" said Liam.
"And the only way for you to do that is if you learn to take care of yourself, and rest when you need to rest" said Liam as he smiled and he rubbed his father's hand.
"*Sigh*, Oh alright my boy, when you say it in that way, you are right" said Alaric as he sighed and Liam smiled.
"But do you just expect me to stay in bed all day and sleep??" asked Alaric.
"Of course not father, but just do not move too much" said Liam as he smiled.
"You may carry on with your duties, as long as they do not involve you moving around too much" said Liam as he smiled.
"Oh alright then my boy" said Alaric as he sighed in defeat, every single day Liam reminded Alaric of his wife, they were exactly alike, they were just the same.
"Thank you Father" said Liam as he smiled, at least he had finally gotten through to his father, and now he could rest at ease without him trying to escape.
"Will you bring me some for the records for me to pass the time?" asked Alaric.
"Of course I will father" said Liam as he smiled.
"And this evening I will eat dinner along with you and my dear daughter" said Alaric as he smiled.
"Whatever you say father, as long as you stay in bed" said Liam as he smiled.
"Alright then my boy" said Alaric as he smiled and Liam stood up as he smiled and he walked away to go and get his father the records he had asked for.
…
"And that is the library my princess" said Nora as she and Wura walked out of a room into the hall.
"I did not know that the Castle had such a library, and it is so big as well, I love to read" said Wura as she smiled, she had never seen such a huge Library before, Wura was sure that the library contained many ancient books from the beginning of Wyverdale and beyond, and she could not wait to learn more.
"Yes my princess, that library is one of the most ancient in the Kingdom" said Nora as she smiled.
"I can see that" said Wura as she laughed.
"My Princess, we are currently entering into the west wing, also known as his Majesty's quarters" said Nora as she and Wura entered into another hall with red carpet, and many paintings on the wall, just like those in the other halls.
"I see" said Wura as she looked around, everything here was just so beautiful, but something caught Wura's eye that made her stop right in her tracks.
"Wait Nora" said Wura as she called for Nora and Nora stopped walking.
"Yes my princess??" asked Nora as she walked back to where Wura was standing.
"Who is this woman?" asked Wura as she pointed to a painting hung on the wall, Wura was curious, she had seen many paintings in the castle, but this one was special, it seemed to be a portrait, and from the tour of the Castle, and she had never seen this woman in other paintings before.
"Oh my princess" said Nora.
"That is her Majesty, Queen Vivian" said Nora as she looked at the painting.
"She is a very beautiful woman" said Wura as she smiled, the woman had a friendly smile on her face, her blue eyes shone and she had long brunette hair, she had a very gentle, and tender look on her face, that would make anyone seem at ease with her.
"Wait…" said Wura as she noticed something familiar.
"That is my pendant" said Wura in surprise as she looked at the painting, and she looked down at her neck, and it was the exact same pendant, with the heart.
"I believe it was her pendant as well my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Then why did his highness not tell me?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora in need of explanation.
"Well my princess, his highness does not like to speak about his mother" said Nora.
"She died at childbirth, and his Majesty raised his highness by himself" said Nora as she explained.
"Oh…" said Wura as she seemed to be thinking, now she knew why Liam seemed upset, he should have just told her that it belonged to his mother, she would have understood him.
"My princess, shall we continue on?" asked Nora as she looked at Wura who was lost in thought.
"Ahh… well yes" said Wura as she took one last look at the painting, she did not know why, but she felt very sad.
