"I actually want to discuss the matter of your wedding" said Alaric as he smiled.
"Well what about the wedding father?" asked Liam as he looked at his father with curiosity and Wura also looked at Alaric with curiosity, just what did he want to discuss about the wedding, because as far as she knew everything was going on well, and fine.
"I wanted to ask you both, if you are aware of… " said Alaric as he paused.
"Well of the somewhat repercussions of getting married in the winter" said Alaric.
"Oh father" said Liam as he laughed.
"Is that all??" asked Liam as he found this very funny, and Wura felt relieved, she thought that it was something very important and dire that Alaric wanted to discuss with them, but it seemed like that was not the case at all, and she sighed a sigh of relief.
"Well what makes you laugh so much my boy??" asked Alaric as he looked at Liam and he wondered what was so funny.
"Well father, I laugh because me and Lady Diwura have already discussed this" said Liam as he laughed and he turned to look at Wura, who in turn smiled at Alaric.
"Yes Your Majesty, like his highness said, we have already discussed this" said Wura as she smiled at Alaric.
"Oh well alright then, that is great news" said Alaric as he smiled.
"I was just checking, because you my children, I want you both to be aware of the fact that weddings are usually not held during the winter in Wyverdale, well due to the belief that marriages set during that time never last" said Alaric as he laughed.
"And I take it as you believe that too Father" said Liam as he laughed as he looked at Alaric.
"Well can you blame me my boy?" asked Alaric.
"I too have been taught that from a young age, and as much as I would like to say that I do not believe in such tales, I simply can not say that" said Alaric.
"Although I do believe that you young children of nowadays do not care for such tales, and so I consider myself a man with an open mind, so that way I can accept anything it is that you both decide to do" said Alaric as he smiled.
"I really appreciate that you have an open mind your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled.
"Because as you said earlier, I truly do not believe in such tales, I find them silly" said Wura.
"Just how does the weather affect the relationship between a man and a woman?" asked Wura as she laughed, that was just how she thought, if the weather truly did affect marriages, then all the couples in Wyverdale would have broken up due to the cold weather.
Wura found it funny that people chose to believe in such silly tales, and they hold those tales to themselves as if it was a commandment that they should never break.
"My thoughts exactly father" said Liam as he looked at his father and he laughed.
"Well if you put it in that way my dear, then it truly does sound silly to believe that" said Alaric as he laughed.
"But some things that we choose to believe can work for us" said Alaric as he smiled.
"I agree your Majesty, and I choose not to believe in tales" said Wura as she laughed, she wondered why it was that she could talk with Alaric to freely, she could express her own ideas and opinions just as she did back at home with her family.
Alaric openly invited her ideas and opinions and he allowed her to speak freely, without any fear at all, and she was happy about that.
"That is true, I agree with you Lady Diwura" said Liam as he turned to look at Wura and he smiled at her.
"But seeing as neither of us believe in such things, then we will be perfectly fine Father" said Liam as he turned to look at his father and he laughed.
"I can see that" said Alaric as he smiled, he could not have chosen a woman better than Wura for his son, she was perfect for him, they seemed to have the same ideas and thoughts, they also got along very well, and it seemed that they were closer than he had thought, since they had already discussed very important things that concerned their relationship.
Alaric smiled, he had nothing at all to worry about, he was leaving his son in good hands, because he was sure that Wura would take care of Liam well.
"I am glad that you two get along very well" said Alaric as he smiled at Wura and Liam.
"Well your Majesty, I would not say that we get along well, but we do have the same opinion on this matter" said Wura to herself as she laughed, that was one idea of hers that she could keep to herself.
"And so am I" said Liam as he turned to look at Wura and he smiled, and she looked away from him, she hated it when he smiled at her so brightly, it almost made her stop hating him for a moment.
…
Meanwhile in the Castle's Kitchen.
"So Nora, how is taking care of the new princess??" asked Dawn as she smiled as she washed her hands and she and Nora walked to a secluded part of the kitchen to get away from all the noises of the bustling happening in the kitchen right now.
"Well Dawn, she is nice" said Nora.
"And very strange to say the least" said Nora as Dawn collected their food from another maid as she smiled and thanked the maid.
"Strange how?" asked Dawn as she turned back to look at Nora and she gave her food to her.
"Well she is not like other prestigious ladies" said Nora as she collected her food.
"How do you mean?" asked Dawn as she pulled down an empty barrel for her and Nora to sit on while they ate their breakfast.
"Well she is different, she does not hold herself high and haughty, she is always smiling, she likes to live simple" said Nora as she stated all the facts she had now seen about Wura since she had became her personal maid.
"Oh alright" said Dawn as she was shocked, she did think that the princess came of as a nice and polite woman when she first met her, and she was very beautiful too, but what Nora told her made her even more shocked.
"She is always so happy, and she treats me like an equal with her, which makes me very uncomfortable" said Nora.
"But you should not be, the princess sounds very nice" said Dawn as she smiled and she sat down on the empty barrel and Nora followed after her and she sat down on the second empty barrel.
"No, not like that Dawn, you do not understand, she is so nice, that I somewhat feel guilty every time she asks me to smile or to speak to her normally" said Nora as she sighed, she had never met a woman like Wura before.
"She gives me compliments that I do not expect, and I am just surprised sometimes" said Nora as she sighed.
"Well that might just be how she is" said Dawn as she ate her food.
"And that is not all" said Nora.
"She also asked me to refer to her using her real name" said Nora as she still could not believe that, how could she a little maid, address to the princess, future wife of Prince Liam of Wyverdale, and also future and Queen of Wyverdale, just by her name?? it was just not done, it was a taboo/
"What??" asked Dawn as she was shocked.
"That was my exact reaction" said Nora.
"Oh my, the princess, really is… something" said Dawn as she laughed.
"How can you laugh?? I was scared when she asked me to do so, no one has ever said that t me before" said Nora as she still seemed unsure.
"Well Nora, I advise that you enjoy this opportunity, not many maids have ladies as nice and as good as our princess" said Dawn as she smiled.
"You just need to get used to her" said Dawn as she smiled.
"In fact if I could, I would want to switch places with you" said Dawn.
"So instead of being scared, embrace her niceness" said Dawn as she smiled.
"That is easy for you to say Dawn, but I cannot do that" said Nora as she was still uncertain, she was very shy, and she was not good with people at all, in fact she would rather avoid them, but she was still a maid, and she had to always listen to the orders of her superiors.
"Oh well then, suit yourself Nora" said Dawn as she laughed as she ate her food, and Nora frowned as she was thinking.
