"Good Youth of Wyverdale" said Liam as he descended from the stairs of the ballroom and he smiled.
"I greet you all" he said.
"Good Evening your Highness" said all the people in the ball room as they either bowed or curtsied, while it was only Wura, Mero and the other men that did not do anything and they just stayed still.
"I have called this ball today... " said Liam as he scanned the ballroom and his eyes feel on Wura.
"Because I have an announcement to make" he said as he looked around once again, and the chattering of people could be heard, they were all whispering amongst themselves.
"Liam is being very... well dramatic" said Zuph as he whispered in Luc's ear.
"Leave him be and let him enjoy it, he is announcing his future wife after all" whispered Luc back as he looked at Wura who was busy looking at Liam.
"I do think he is enjoying this too much" said Zechariah as he chipped in.
"I tell you all that this woman is going to make sure to make our lives unbreathable" said Elihu as he looked upset.
"You have no say in this Elihu, you are just petty after all" said Luc as he sighed and Elihu grunted.
"Everyone please quiet down" said Liam and everyone did.
"I am here to announce to you... my betrothed, the Princess and Future Queen of Wyverdale" said Liam as by now he had everyone's full attention.
The More Liam spoke the more Wura felt uneasy, she knew that every passing second that Liam spoke, was less time she had to escape and call off this whole stupid decision of hers, but as much as she just wanted to go and disappear, her feet stayed rooted to the ground.
"So may Lady Diwura Lily Scot please step forward" said Liam with a smile as he looked at Wura and he called her name, and immediately in that same instant all eyes were on Wura, and she felt even worse.
Wura wanted to look away, but she just could not, as if Liam's smile was a like a enchanting light that enchanted her, it was like she was a moth drawn to a flame, she stupidly walked forward to where he was.
As she walked everyone cleared a straight path for her, from where she was standing to where Liam was making his announcement at the head of the stairs.
Wura stopped walking and Liam reached out to her and he held her hand and she walked towards him, and he held her hand in his and they both turned to face the crowd.
"My good Youth of Wyverdale, I present to you..." said Liam.
"My future wife, and your future Queen..." he said.
"Lady Diwura Lily Scot" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura.
"Good Evening Princess" said everyone as they all bowed down to Wura.
Wura was glued to her spot, she did not move at all as she saw everyone bow to her, this was something she thought she would never see, but here she was, and now there was no turning back, she was stuck with Liam now.
Liam looked at Wura as she saw that she was not paying attention, so he lightly squeezed her hand and she came back to reality as she looked at him and then she turned to look back at the crowd.
"I am honoured to be your Princess" she said as she curtsied to everyone and she raised her head.
"We are honoured to have you" said the crowd as some of them smiled, while some looked displeased.
Wura could see some of the other children of the dukes that she knew and she could also see the extremely angry look on Rosie's face, Rosie made no attempt at all to at least conceal her displeasure, she glared at Wura in disgust as if she was taking a position that rightly belonged to her.
"Well you cannot please everyone" said Wura to herself, she did not have time to deal with Rosie's tantrums right now, she was still trying to wrap her head around the fact that she was officially announced to the entire Kingdom that she was Liam's betrothed.
"Well my good youth, enjoy and be merry" said Liam as he smiled.
"The entire Kingdom is invited to our wedding" said Liam as all the youth cheered.
"We shall be taking our leave now, please do enjoy" said Liam.
"Thank you your highness" said the youth as the music started playing once again, and everyone went back to what they were doing, while Rosie stormed off angrily, to only God knew where.
"Shall we??" asked Liam as he stretched out his hand to Wura's and she put her hand in his.
"Of course" she said as they walked out of the ballroom.
"You left rather early" said Wura as she turned to look at Liam as they walked further and further away from the ballroom.
"Oh I did not know that you would have preferred to stay there longer" said Liam.
"No... No... I would not have" said Wura, and Liam knew it, because he could sense her uneasiness, especially when he had introduced her, for once he had actually seen her uneasy about something.
"Your highness what did I say... you cannot do such things until we are married" said Wura as she finally noticed that Liam was holding her had and she pulled her hand out of his.
"It was my mistake, but I had no other choice, especially when you looked like you were glued to your spot the entire time" said Liam.
Wura stopped walking, he had noticed that??
"I admit that I did so... but that was because I was thinking of something important" said Wura.
"Which is?" asked Liam as he stopped walking and he turned to look at her.
"You are not obliged to know your highness" said Wura as she looked away, there was no was that she was going to tell him that she was thinking about how her life would change now that their relationship was official and there was no way she would be able to break up their engagement subtly now.
"I see" said Liam as he started walking once again and Wura followed after him because she did not want to get lost again.
"Where are we going??" asked Wura as she looked around.
"We are going outside" said Liam.
"At least he has the courtesy to tell me this time" said Wura to herself.
"Why??" asked Liam.
"I am sending you home" said Liam.
"Oh I see" said Wura.
"Yes" said Liam, he had figured out that Wura must have probably been tired, the had done a lot of things yesterday, and it was true that he was rushing things with her, but that was because he did not want to loose her, he was not sure he would find anyone else like her in the Kingdom.
He preferred to rush things so she would not be able to run away from him anymore, because Liam knew that if he waited for her to voice out her true opinion he would wait for a along time.
"Tell me... did you like the ball??" asked Liam as he wanted to get her opinion.
"I am sure that I would have enjoyed it... if not for the looks on some people's faces as if they wanted to kill me" said Wura as she sighed and she said that last part under her breath but Liam still heard her.
"I see" said Liam.
"And what was the important matter you had to attend to?" asked Wura as she asked Liam a question.
"It is nothing important right now" said Liam swiftly.
"Oh... I see" said Wura as they walked.
