As the trumpeters blew their trumpets signaling that they had important news to tell.
Tessa ran outside, with her feet in the snow completely oblivious to the fact that she was uncovered during winter, Richard followed behind her and he covered her with her pink coat.
"Thank you Richie" she said as she looked at Richard and she smiled at him.
What would she do without him? she asked herself.
Wura was in no rush at all to find out what was going on, she was still inside comfortably putting on her coat, unlike her very nosy aunt.
Once the trumpeters were done blowing, one man stepped out from their midst and he began to speak.
"I am in search of Duke and Duchess Scot" said the man.
"The Lady and Man of the house" he added.
Tessa immediately stepped in and said.
"The Lady and the Man of the house are not available at this moment" she said.
"However I am Duke Scot's younger Sister, I may pass along the message" said Tessa.
"I see" said the Man, it was about that moment that Tessa recognized the Kingdom's seal on the uniform of the trumpeters.
Was their family in trouble?? did they commit a crime??? then why else would the King's trumpeters be here? thought Tessa to herself.
"May I know your name?" asked the Man.
"I am Lady Tessa Ridingfall" she said.
"Well then Lady Tessa Ridingfall, here ye the royal decree of his Royal Highness Prince Liam" began the man.
It was at the sound of Liam's name being called that Wura stopped right in her tracks, and she did not come out of her home..
"His Royal Highness requires the presence of Lady Diwura Lily Scot" said the man.
"Does she reside here?" asked the man.
"Yes she does, she is the only daughter of Duke and Duchess Scot" replied Tessa, as by now she realized that her niece that she thought was innocent had lied to her, something definitely happened, why else would the Prince himself be looking for her?
"His Royal Highness would like to have a meeting with Duke and Duchess Scot to discuss a trivial matter" said the man.
"When will they return?" asked the man.
"They are currently on an important trip, but I can make sure to ask of them to return" said Tessa.
It was at that moment that Wura's heart dropped, everything had ended for her, that stupid prince had come looking for her, she was doomed, she really needed her parents to come back home right now.
They were the only ones that could save her from this deep mess that she had created for herself.
"His Royal Highness would like to come visit the Lady and the Man of the house in two days time, would that be possible?" asked the man.
"I can make such arrangements" said Tessa.
"Thank you Lady Tessa Ridingfall, that would be all" said the man as he stepped back.
Wura could not hear what they were talking about from inside the house, but as soon as she heard the trumpeters blowing their trumpets once again, she knew that it was about time that she ran, of which she did.
"Diwura Lily Scot!!!" called Tessa as she entered the house.
Richard took off her coat for her, which gave her the avenue to go find her neice.
Richard knew better than to interfere with ladies matters, especially ones that concerned his wife and her antics, so he was just going to watch how this played out.
"Diwura!!" called Tessa as she walked up the stairs as quickly as a woman in her condition could, and she went straight to Wura's room.
"Diwura!!!" she called as she opened Wura's door, already heaving from how much she was moving in her state, if not that it was winter, Wura was sure that she would be sweating by now.
"Yes Aunt, do you need something??" asked Wura as she was siting on her bed, with a book in her hand, she looked totally innocent as if nothing had just happened.
"Oh you know what I want Wura" said Tessa as she was feeling dizzy.
"Aunt please lay down" said Wura as she got up quickly and she assisted her Aunt to sit on her bed.
"Here you go wildvine" said Richard as he walked into Wura's room with a cup of water and he gave it to Tessa, which she speedily drank.
"Thank you Richie" said Tessa as she gave him back the cup, she had finally calmed down, and she was feeling better than she did a few seconds ago.
"Mhmm" replied Richard as he not so hastily made his way out of Wura's room, there was going to be a big argument going on.
"Why did you not tell me that the Prince was interested in you?" asked Tessa as she was a bit calmer.
"Because why else would he come looking for you, and even for my brother?" asked Tessa
"Well the thing is Aunt, I forgot to mention that particular detail" said Wura sheepishly.
"Wura???" said Tessa as if she was waiting for more information.
"*Sigh* Okay Aunt" said Wura.
"So I may or may not have disobeyed his orders, which let him to asking me to be his betrothed, and with how ill mannered he was, I could not back down, so I blindly said yes, and now I am stuck with him" said Wura as she whined.
"Oh my dear, it seems that you are in a very tricky situation" said Tessa.
"Yes I am Aunt, I do not want to get married now, I am still too young, please help me" said Wura.
"Don't worry dear, we need to get my brother informed about this" said Tessa.
Sure Tessa loved the Royal family, but she also loved her only niece more, and if Wura did not want to get married, she did not have to get married, the only problem here would be breaking off the engagement.
Because as Tessa saw it, the prince was bent on marrying Wura, why else would he have made such a decision so fast?
"I already sent a letter to Father and Mother this morning" said Wura,
"That is good my dear" said Tessa.
"So just relax my dear, nothing will happen" said Tessa as she assured Wura, and Wura nodded.
