"You're mafia. You can't honestly expect me to believe you have no idea who they are." Richard licked the fry sauce off his thumb.
"Not before Diego started to help me collect information on them. You didn't tell me how you know them though." Could this kid be a better informant than Diego? That would be an interesting turn of events.
"Anyone who comes from that side of the state knows who they are." The kid shrugged it off as though it wasn't that big of a deal.
"They're one of those generational families. Worked as lawyers or similar for years."
"Diego, does that align with what you found out?" The young mafioso though impressed with Richard's knowledge needed to be sure it was reliable.
"Yes. Though recently it seems that they've pulled back some of their monopoly in the state." The informant confirmed.
