The restaurant was the exact opposite of anything that Zane enjoyed dining. Far too upscale and stuffy for his taste. The polar opposite of where he would've preferred to dine after the day he had.
As Clive reminded him though- such things were still his duty. Regardless of how he felt, they were to be seen through.
"Nathan. It's good to see you again." The young mafioso offered the other man the best warm smile he could muster. Shaking the other's hand while patting him on the arm.
"Zane. It feels like it was only yesterday when we last met yet you've grown so much." Nathan laughed warmly, returning the other's gesture.
"Are you really the same person I met not so long ago who was still learning from his father?"
"Eighteen is a far cry from fourteen. My father certainly taught me a lot back then. So much so that I managed to get to where I am new in these few short years." Zane motioned for the other to take a seat before claiming his own.
