The men stopped in their tracks looking wide-eyed and excited at the first light they'd seen since they entered the darkness hours ago.
"That light must be our way out of here!" one officer exclaimed happily.
Dr. Curry aimed the phone in the direction of the light and each time, the signal bars fluctuated. "The signal bars are going up!"
The men cheered happily, absolutely overjoyed by the fact that their way out was just a short distance away from where they stood.
"A strange light in the darkness does not guarantee us a way out," Officer James commented.
Officer Nelson rose a brow as he challenged, "But a rabid dog does?"
"The light's disappearing." Officer Curry checked the signal bars on the pink iPhone he rose above his head, "And the signal is weakening."
"If we don't leave now we might end up being stuck here until we draw our last breath." Officer Nelson looked at the men around him, "Do you want to die here?!"
