Chapter 38 - Birth of the Supreme Army 4

Tami leads the wolf's rider proudly out of the city gate. With the rapid-fire bow in their hands and a long spear beside their wolves. The air around the soldiers was oppressive and would make a normal human being lose consciousness.

"Formation" Tami yelled.

At once the rows of soldiers formed a rectangular formation with their Rapid Fire bow taken from their back and aimed at the incoming ten mages. Right in the sky, ten squadrons of eagles riders and their weapon locked on the ten mages.

Nevertheless, the ten didn't even bat an eye at the group of soldiers in front of them.

"Clowns" Jochen smirked.

"Where can the tens of movie mages do with their strange weapons. This is getting interesting." Preston mused his lips.

"I can't imagine their faces when I torture them and makes them beg for their lives," Zim added with a light chuckle.

On the city wall, Al Casendra and Sir John stood with the guards, staring at the incoming battle. Can a novice mages handle ten beginner mages? This was the question in the mind of those people.

The city was in perfect serenity, while the long distant howl of the beast came from the forest. The wind blows gently, and the sun hung at the center of the sky, shining brightly on long-Fall Pass.

Everyone knew that the intruder meant no good, and they fear what the intruder wanted with that powerful line-up. However, a seed of hope sprouted in their mind when they looked at the young man in a long overflowing blue robe.

Can his men perform another miracle?

If the people of Long-Fall Pass were told, they would one day believe in a miracle. They would scuff and ridicule the thought. But now, every one of them was now hanging on the tiny thread of hope. So distant and so close.

Jochen raised his hand and his team stopped a couple of meters from Tami. The two teams looked at each other for a couple of seconds. Everywhere was quiet and a drop of a pin could be heard if dropped.

"I'm Jochen and here for the prince," Jochen said casually. But his voice resounded through the quiet city.

Why would they come for the prince? Everyone thought.

A couple of meters from the city wall, a middle-aged man looked at the scene outside the gate with a cruel smile on his face. "Now, let's see how you're going to safe your useless from this doom."

"Who sent you?" Sir John responded with a snort.

"You don't need to know. I only need to talk to the prince." Jochen replied in disdain, staring at Sir John.

Hearing this, Sir John looked at Al Casendra. His heart was pounding. He knew these people were no good. 'His highness is still a kid. Would he believe these people?' He panicked.

Al Casendra didn't bat an eye at Sir John and communicate with his hand. Sir John's eyes glowed, reading Al Casendra's hand signal.

'I know it. His highness won't believe their nonsense.' He looked at Al Casendra for seconds before turning to look at Jochen. 'I guess his highness has matured.'

"You can pass the information to the soldiers in front of you. His highness had already heard you." Sir John replied in disdain.

"Nonsense!" Zim screamed. "Do you know who we are? How dare you lowly being talk back to us."

Meanwhile, Tami and Damie had been keeping their eyes on Al Casendra waiting for his signal. Their blood was boiling. They crave for battle. All the agonizing training had made them fierce for battle and worship him from the depth of their heart.

"I guess if we don't show you what we are capable of. You won't take us seriously." Preston replied casually.

Jochen nodded and slapped his horse. "It's time to show this clown that they are nothing trash."

At once, the ten black men urge their horses toward Tami and his squad with a conniving smile on their faces. What can a group of novice mages do to them? The ten began to summons their magic, preparing to attack.

Everyone watched what was going to happen and took a deep and shuddered. Unknown to them, a bead of sweats had gathered on their foreheads.

Tami sat proudly on his wolf, waiting for Al Casendra. Nevertheless, some men began to panic. Can their weapon deal with them?

Suddenly, Al Casendra raised his right hand. At that moment, every being watching the scene fixed their eyes on him. They held their breath and their hearts raced. Like an imperial decree; Al Casendra drops his hand.

Tami's eyes glowed. 'Time to shine.'

"Boys!" His sonorous voice echoed everywhere.

"Let show this useless prick how it's been done in Long-Fall Pass."

Fifty wolves rider aimed their Rapid Fire Bow at the ten beginner mages. And behold, their wolves pick up speed and rushed toward their enemy.

'Are they crazy?' Sir John shouted in his mind. He looked at Al Casendra but only to be disappointed with his cold expressionless face. No one could know what he was thinking.

"These Clowns are stupid more than I thought" Jochen muttered in contempt.

"Let's end their pathetic life," Zim added. A bright red flame danced in his hand.

"Fire!" Tami shouted when only less than ten meters was separating the two group.

Whoosh!

The ten didn't catch what just happened. The smug expression still lingered on their face while their spell was half in motion.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ah!

A miserable cry echoed on the battlefield. The ten powerful beginner mages were sent flying out from the top of their horses. While none of the horses were spared from the attack.

In a split of moments, the calm field was dyed in red. Five of the ten black men were killed instantly, while the other fives were seriously injured.

"W-What's happening." Jochen wiped the blood from the corner of his lips. He looked at his men and his heart ached. But he controlled his emotion and stood up.

Zim and Preston fair better than the other two. However, the shock in their eyes was any lesser than Jochen. The five were still lost in what had just happened when the land trembled. They turned their head and saw the incoming wolves' warriors, and they shivered.

Fear

All their haughtiness had long gone. Yet, as powerful beginner mages. They controlled their emotion and prepared to attack.

"Whatever sorcery you perform. This end now." Jochen shouted. A powerful wind appeared around him. But before he could attack.

Tens of attacks came from the sky, catching Jochen and his men off guard.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ah! Ah!

Seeing Damie's squad attack, Tami was furious. This was his time to shine. How dare her.

"Fire at will" He shouted.

Bang!!!

A cloud of dust raised from where the ten black was. No one could see what was happening. Despite this, the people of long-Fall Pass had their jaws dropped to the ground.

'How is this possible!?'
