Chapter 11 - Chapter 10 - First Friend In Heroism... Thundra

Felix stared at the screen in curiosity before his vision suddenly blacked out.

----

"Aww, man. Where did I appear in now?" Felix groaned as he looked around to find himself in the middle of a strange forest with golden leafed trees.

[Location - Golden Tree Forest]

[Danger Stage - Normal]

Felix frowned as he looked around in vigilance, while reaching for his custom set pistol holstered to his waist to see if it was really there.

Only after being reassured by feeling the cold metal with the surface of his palm did he really move.

–Friend Request Reminder–

–Do You Accept Thundra's Friend Request?–

'Yes...' Felix thought as he continued forward, while listening for any hidden creature around him.

He only took four steps forward before a blue screen suddenly popped up before his face, obstructing his sense of sight.

–@Thundra: Hello, Do you want to meet?–

The message from Thundra was at the top of the screen, while a transparent blue keyboard was right below.

Felix sighed before quickly typing away with a smile on his face.

----

Miles away from Felix's starting position, a short girl wearing a plain short pink dress suddenly smiled.

She was a short girl, only about 4 - 5 feet tall. Her eyes were glowing in a radiant red light, while her long golden locks were tied back in a ponytail. Her jade skin was spotless, devoid of any blemish.

Her voluptuous figure, beautiful round face, and graceful movements made the red eyed blonde extremely attractive.

Besides her was the dead body of a large, dog sized rat with spiky black fur and a sharp horn on it's head. It's neck was punctured in, while a long wide gash was left on it's chest as it bleed to death.

"Hehe, Psychic must be a very interesting person. He was the only player who actually chose a plain lethal weapon to use instead of flashy nonsense like the rest." Thundra muttered as the corner of her rosy red lips slightly curved up in a dark smirk.

–@Psychic: I would love to meet someone here, but I'm new to this thing and don't even know my way around.

Could you give directions or something?–

Thundra was shocked by Psychic's answer. She was expecting Psychic to act all high and mighty and accept easily, but not this...

He was willing to ask for help knowing fully well that he could get in trouble without it.

Psychic's reply piqued Thundra's interest, nevertheless, she still sent him a locator map to find her.

–@Psychic: Thanks Thundra, I'll be there in a minute.–

----

Roar~

A large white lion the size of a truck roared madly. It's eyes burned in fury as it madly charged forward.

Above it's head was a screen with the words:

[White Lion]

[Hp: 10/100]

[Monster Difficulty: Normal]

[Status: Mad/Critical]

Injuries were all it's body, while a long thin gash was drawn from the top of it's head to the bottom of it's tail.

The pain from the injuries, and it's anger hindered it's offensive ability, leaving it as a mad bull in the middle of a building decorated with red flags.

"Shit! Jack shoot that thing down before we all become feline-snack!" A tall slender woman in her twenties yelled as she lifted her arms up before bringing it down.

Solar Flare!

As soon as her hands was finally brought down, a bright ray of glowing red fire struck the white lion from above, burning off it's fur completely.

The lion swayed from side to side aimlessly before collapsing to the ground.

"Damn that creature!" Jack exclaimed as he punched the air excitedly with a smile on his face. "Lilley, we've killed a White Lion! Hurray!"

"It's might not be dead yet, we didn't receive any experience points!" Lilley spat as she subconsciously backed away with a dreadful expression on her face.

Growl~

The supposedly dead White Lion struggled up to it's feet swiftly while letting out a growl from deep inside it's chest as it locked it's eyes on the nearest enemy.

The flustered human female!

Roar!

With a fierce heart-palpitating roar, the White Lion stomped it's feet, using the force to viciously propel itself towards him enemy.

Felix who was hiding in a bush nearby suddenly grinned as he fiercely fired his pistol without hesitation.

Bang~~~

The bullet left a bloody hole in the lion's head as blood splattered around, it's body going limp before weakly falling down to the side.

Beautiful One-hit Kill!

The terrifying explosive power of the pistol was enough to make Felix grin in satisfaction.

It turned out his luck was incredible!

He was just wandering around searching for weak prey to use as levelling boosts when he surprisingly stumbled upon the fight.

Being the mighty and brave mind-reader he is, he jumped behind a bush, waiting for the perfect moment to steal the kill.

Ding!

Seeing the rewards, Felix grinned even broader, ignoring the –Cowardice Reward– and the cursing players.

'If you can't protect your game from other players you can go and die...'

----

After walking away from the two, and heading of to grind monsters for Heroic Experience, Felix painstakingly reached Level 5.

Reaching Level 5 in a day garnered him a lot of jealously and enmity from some other jobless players who weren't as good-looking and amazing as him.

He discovered that the timeflow here was also very interesting. An hour in the real world is equivalent to a half a day here!

'Well, I hope Thundra's nearby. It's getting extremely boring here.'

Felix right was striding off towards Thundra's given location with a frown on his face as he also had to deal with various obstacles on the way.

He continued walking for five more hours, killing monsters, and gaining Heroic Experience before he heard a voice behind him which prompted him to turn around subconsciously.

"Hello. I'm Thundra." A short voluptuous blonde was waving at him... In a friendly looking manner. She wore a charming smile which nearly captivated Felix's soul.

Seeing the beauty before him Felix completely forgot about his manners as a gentleman as his eyes lowered down from Thundra's face to somewhere else.

That chest...

How could a human mind customise a character so heavenly? Wait... W-What if it's the real her?

Felix's eyes turned as round as saucers with hearts floating around his head as the thought of tightly hugging Thundra's customised character strangely popped up in his mind.

Who am I kidding? Who knows if Thundra's just a little old lady in real life!

Do little old ladies play otherworldly video games? Bah!

"Ahem, I'm Psychic. Nice meeting you." Felix subconsciously wanted to draw out his arm for a handshake, but after realising the surprisingly large distance between them did he suppress the innate urge.

"So, you finally broke into Level 5 huh? So fast?" Thundra said as she appeared directly before 'Psychic's' face and squinted her rosy eyes.

–@Thundra Is Using Inspect On You...–

–You Have Received A Gift From Thundra!–

'Huh?' Felix was slightly shocked as the message appeared before him. He understood that there were still good people in this world, but this seems suspicious.

Felix immediately opened his –Heroic Status– with piqued interest on what gift was given to him.

"Hope you like the gift, Felix? You'll need it for what we're about to do." Thundra said with a heartwarming smile that nearly forced Felix into tears.

Such a useful tool for someone she just met? What if I was her boyfriend or even husband?!

God... if you exist, I thank you for being this kind to me.

Imagine your enemy hurtling curses at you while you just sit, and watch with a smile.

This gift is just too much!

"Thank you..." Felix was about to even bow before Thundra when he suddenly realised something that made his face turn blank, "What we?" Felix blurted out.

"You're truly a noob. Just wait... you'll see." Thundra said, a little annoyed that this mutant wasn't listening to her.

'Huh? Does this lady want to take advantage of me? No way!' Felix thought with a frown on his face.

Suddenly, a bright blue screen appeared before Felix's eyes making him squint his eyes. Quest?
