"Well. First things first, we'll need a map. I don't suggest heading into the Phoenix's nest blindly. Our survival rate will drop by a frightening 10%!" Felix said as he imagined himself pushing up a pair of imaginary glasses up his face.
"It's said that the Dark Phoenix isn't a normal fire-based phoenix. It's lair is shrouded in an icy mist with a radius of fifty metres. The Steel Dragon Temple is right before it, and it's inhabitants are suffering from the cold." Flaming Maiden seemed to be very knowledgeable in that aspect, adjusting the dropping black glasses on her straight nose.
"I do have a map here with me, and it might help us discover a fairly safe route for us to take to the target. It should help us avoid unnecessary fights which will undoubtedly expend our energy." Demon Hunter said as she immediately brought out a map from her in-game inventory with a smile on her face.
"Hmm, according to the map the Dark Phoenix is located in an area with high Ice Energy. As you can see, it altered the environment around it's cave." Felix pointed out as he placed his index finger at the centre of the map which the drawing of white forest surrounding a cave was. "We'll have to resupply somewhere before going out to strike. And it might possess Resurrection, we'll need something capable of putting down once and for all."
"It'll be best to move out now, we don't actually have time on our hands." Thundra advised while giving a Felix a smile.
"I disagree with you Thundra. You see this point before the forest which has the lowest number of trees, right behind the Steel Dragon Temple? I believe there's something in there that'll help us in the battle, we have to find it." Felix immediately retorted with a lazy smile on his face. Arguing with this girl was strangely... pleasing.
It was true though.
Felix wasn't a idiot. He knew that the main and probably safest routes to the Dark Phoenix's hiding place were relative crowded with monsters and traps.
Only a genuine genius like him would spot the relatively strange area hidden within all the sketches of trees and mountains. A place close to the temple, a secret dungeon.
A hidden part of the map must always have an interesting adventure! The mini-boss might have a shortcut to the final boss and maybe it may even be harbouring some interesting loot!
"We should head to that area at once, but first does anyone know how to cross the wind blade barrier?" Felix asked as he brought out his pistol from his inventory and holstered it on his thigh.
"It's easy. The wind barrier would drop in a few minutes, so everyone should prepare themselves before that time." Thundra said as she waved her slender hands gracefully, ordering her weapon to appear. "But we have to be quick, it could start back up in a blink. That thing could shred you to pieces, I'd advise you to jump far and high."
Felix smartly heeded her subtle warning, and began to observe her weapon. It was... a sword? Thundra could use a sword?
Was she a Metal Deviant in real life? Bah, those guys are mostly haughty and lazy. I can't compare them to her.
Thundra's weapon was a long red blade sword with a glowing black hilt. Dozens of runes were engraved on the blade, each glowing in a bright glowing light under Thundra's touch.

Demon Hunter and Flaming Maiden's jaws dropped to the floor after recognising the sword. Only players from Version 1.0 who played the first general quest -Dark Church- would recognise the Legend Grade sword which was used to slay the Dark Church's priest.
A sword cursed with the ability to never break. It was the nightmare of all the owners' enemy...

Felix was unfazed by the sword since he wasn't a member of the first general quest or even a player of Version 1.0, but admired the beauty and power radiating from the sword.
It was cool, he wished he could have something like that. I can't use a sword? Of course I'll learn!
Demon Hunter nodded before bringing out a black 2metre long spear which was glowing in a bright purple lustre. The head of the spear was completely purple with shiny black runic patterns running down from the tip of it's head to the bottom of the spear, radiating the violent and tyrannical aura of an Advanced Grade Blade...

Flaming Maiden was the only one who was surprisingly unarmed. She was using a pair of scarlet gauntlets on both fists which were pulsating in a bright red light.
Felix squinted his eyes as he immediately looked directly at the barrier. Suddenly his pupils burst out in a bright blue glow a screen flashed before his face.

Three shadows were seen hiding under a mountain probably waiting for something, two males and an ugly female who was wearing heavy makeup, looking akin to a clown.
"Boss, why hasn't he arrived yet? That newbie, he already has three goddesses in his team on the first day! We have to eliminate him before he steals all the beauties in the game!" A short man with a scar which extended from his right eye down to his neck spoke as he rubbed his hands excitedly. The look on his face showed he didn't have good thoughts.
"We have to be extremely careful with this high tier assassination, Player Thundra is there, a top player and an incredible beauty." A tall man bearing the face of a monkey with his ears as wide as a cassette disc spoke loudly as he licked his lips with lust in his eyes.
"That b*tch, she thinks she's all high and mighty! We'll first take out their leader, then, use the trap to catch those sluts. You can handle them however you like, but let me torture Thundra for a bit first okay?" The ugly woman who looked like an old hag spoke out in a dry and hoarse voice. If someone like this was placed at the middle of a park, even the clowns wouldn't find her face nice.
"Here they are! Come on guys, get in position! Let's give them a very 'warm' welcome!" The short man threw back his head and laughed manically as he began to have lewd thoughts towards Thundra.

Felix who was sliding down the hill at a shocking speed suddenly sneezed alongside Thundra. Both of them awkwardly glanced at one another before helplessly shrugging it off.
"Who are those idiots standing there waiting for us?" Felix muttered under his breath as he noticed the trio quietly standing under the mountain like statutes. He immediately sped up after catching a glimpse of the slender figure among them!
'A woman is- f**k me! Is that a female ape?!' Felix wanted to run back up the mountain after seeing the face of the so-called woman who was standing as straight and tall as Mount Everest.
With her large bulging eyes, fleshy round face heavy makeup, and small beady eyes. She was more fit to be an ugly clown than a beautiful woman.
"Felix, do you notice something is definitely wrong with that bunch?" Demon Hunter whispered in Felix's ear with a frown on her face.
"Yeah, they all too ugly. Besides why aren't they armed? Aren't they guarding against sneak attacks?" Felix wondered as his brain suddenly lit up...

After getting a considerable distance close to them, the seeming leader of the bunch called out to Felix.
"Sir! We are looking for directions, we got lost in this place and can't find our way back to our base." The short and ugly man yelled out to Felix with a disgusting grin on his face. He was wearing a plain gray shirt with a pair of tattered trousers.

Felix felt like vomiting after seeing the grin of the ugly shorty. Not only were his teeth yellowish from either little to no maintenance or malnutrition, some where even halved or completely missing!
"Shorty, can't you shut your mouth if your teeth is so bad? Are you planning on scaring us to death? Who wouldn't mistake you for a monster in this situation?" Felix spat out curses angrily without halting his advance as he glared at the grinning shorty. If not for the ladies besides him, he would make sure to curse the shorty up to his ancestors!

"Hey hey, kid stop saying things that'll make this daddy wash your mouth with soap and water for a month!" The shorty retorted back without hesitation as his eyes flickered dangerously.

Felix almost tripped while sliding down. He thought he was becoming more shameless, but this runt of a man...
"Han, please. The kid obviously didn't mean that... you should close your teeth though. Don't frighten the chicks away!" The tall man who was standing besides the shorty decisively whispered to him with a smile on his face. It was good to lure in the prey rather than chase them away.
Han, the shorty nearly exploded! His body began to shudder as rose his head to glare at his comrade...
"Piss off..." Han spat out curses as he furiously stomped off.
Felix finally reached the end of the mountain with his expression steel cold. His eyes were already glowing in a slightly blue light, an indication his powers were already active.
"Sorry for my friend's 'short' temper, he just doesn't like to be ridiculed about his teeth. It's a very long story, you shouldn't ask about it." The man said as he drew out his hands for a handshake with a smile on his face, "I'm Will."
"Hmm? Will is a good name. I'm Felix, nice to meet you." Felix shook Will's hand with a smile on his face, while cursing the fool up to his ancestors in his heart.
'Who do you think I am? Just because I, your father haven't mastered mind reading you're putting up an act right before my face?! I could smell your pervertedness from miles away you monkey face!' Felix furiously thought to himself with his blood boiling in anger.
He had finally acquired three beautiful women as his teammates with his handsome face and tyrannical might, yet some b*stard had already started troubling him!
