"The movement skills and turning of metal is really smooth" Emma muttered in awe. 'The owner of the legacy had the right to be proud. Comparing George skill to the legacy is an insult to the legendary blacksmith.' He thought.
Emma continue to hammer the hot sword evenly, forcing out the impurity. After a couple of seconds, he dug the hot sword inside cold water for a moment and place back on the anvil and began hammering.
A couple of feet from Emma, George was also working on a sword. Both of them focused on their work and didn't notice the passage of time.
Both of them work in tandem, understanding each other while their hammer reverberated like a high pitch note, adding a subtle melody to the quiet workshop.
"Are you done?" George wiped the sweats from his forehead, turning to Emma with a confident smile on his face.
"Hmm, hmm" Emma nodded. "Done."

Seeing the new notification, It didn't surprise him. He understood the direction where the system was forcing him to go. 'You're just in a rush. How could I be satisfied with forging an ordinary weapon. This is just the beginning.'
"Let compare the two." George moves closer to Emma with a broad sword in his hand.
Meanwhile, Emma held a thin long sword in his hand; the light glitter and reflect the scorching sun on its thin surface of the sword. He smiled and gave the sword to George to examine.
George's expression watching the cold steel. His heart missed a beat. 'Will I lose to my apprentice?' He thought in dismay. 'Impossible! He couldn't have grasped the trick on forging an uncommon weapon.' A sigh of relief escape from his mouth.
However, when he held Emma sword, his expression changed. He swing the weapon a few time and touch the cold sharp edges. 'It's lighter and sharper than my sword. How could this be?' His emotion was in disarray.
"Won't you mind if I test how strong this sword is." George with a tight lip.
"Go ahead." Emma didn't bat an eyes at George. He could virtually guess what was going on his mind. 'If not for lack of resources, why would I forge such a low sword.'
With his knowledge of the legacy, his view of forging had changed. He and George were not on the same level anymore.
Kan!
George hit the sword on the strong anvil, but the sword didn't have a scratch. And if you look carefully, the anvil had a slight mark on it body.
'Hmm? How is this. How could he forge an uncommon weapon.' He cried in his heart. 'I've spent 20 years sharping my skills. But I'm yet to forge the lowest uncommon weapon.'
He threw the sword on the floor and rush out of the workshop in indignation.
"This unfair. This unfair." He continued to muttered, lost in grief.
Emma saw George's back and shook his head. He understood what George was feeling but he no way to help him right now. 'Just be patient, you get to forge an uncommon weapon.'
He knew George goal was to forge an uncommon weapon, while his goal was far bigger than a measly weapon.
Emma step out of George workshop with his suit and helmet over his head. It had been 5 days since he joined George as an apprentice. He raised his head and look at the bright day and smiled.
With a large stride, he left the alley. After a couple of minutes, he arrived at the biggest building, second to the Village chief manor. A middle-aged man sat at the entrance of the stony building talking to a fox lady.
Her fluffy white long tails stuck out of her slim tight robe and her cute long ears were sticking out of her head. Her long brown hair swayed gently in the wind.
Emma glanced at the fox lady for a moment and avert his eyes and looked at the middle-aged man. Seeing Emma, the middle-aged man avert his gaze from the fox lady and said in a husky voice.
"Young man, what do you want?" He asked smiling.
"If you're here for quest. This annoying old man is a hard nut to crack."
"I'm here to use the library." Emma said casually.
"You're here for the library." The fox lady snorted. "As if it was easy to entered like that. You have to complete a quest for this annoying man for you to have a chance to enter."
"You heard the lady. You need a token before you can use the library. Only I and the village chief could give you." The middle-aged man said with a tight lip smile.
Emma was too lazy to talk with these two. He fetched out a token from his inventory and show it to the middle-aged man. "Can I go in now?"
"What!" The middle-aged man stood abruptly and his mouth agape. "Where do you get it."
"What do you think?" Emma retorted, matching toward the entrance of the library.
The fox lady was stupefied. Her brown eyes glowed, staring at Emma in shocked. Emma didn't care about what those two thought. He arrived before the entrance and was stop by an invisible wall.
Emma didn't think twice; he pointed the round token toward the invisible wall.
Whim!
The token glowed and the invisible wall disappeared like it was never there in the first place. Without further ado, he sauntered into the library.
"Where did he get the token." The fox lady asked the daze middle-aged man.
"From the village chief" He answered absentmindedly.
