After a day, the bustling news of the legendary blacksmith shook the beginning village. All the Nagam rushed out of the village of rare metal or search of books relating to rune inscription and array formation.
Even though Emma didn't require money but something almost impossible to attain. But the allure of rank 3 and rank 4 uncommon grade weapons made them try their luck
"Are you sure you are going to make me a rank 2 or rank 3 uncommon grade weapon?" A slim young man asked.
"What do you think?" Emma asked with a slight smile on his face.
He had been happy since he lay his hand on the Cargonite. Besides, he had received a couple of books on rune and array formation. The more he studies it the more he palpitates for more.
'Knowledge is strength.'
"I don't know. Most people claimed that you forge them a rank 3 uncommon grade weapon. But none of them show it to the world to see. It may probably be a lie." The thin young man asserted.
"Give me your materials. And if I can't forge you a rank 3 weapon. I will return your item to you and also compensate you." Emma looked straight into his eyes while the smile still lingered on his lips.
"Good!" The young man nodded. He opened his inventory and took out a couple of crystals.
Seeing the crystal, Emma's eyes bloomed. He stood and couldn't control his trembling hand.
"Where do you get the crystal?"
"A couple of miles from the village. But many dangerous beasts are guarding the mountain. Of all the teams that entered the mountain. I was the only one that came out alive." The thin young man said in fear.
>>Are you going to that mountain region?
'I'm still thinking about it.?'
>>But there are other alternatives. You don't have enough days to waste chasing after ore or crystal.
'Stop nagging. I know.' Emma snapped.
>>…?
"Are there any crystals in the mountain?" Emma asked.
"Probably. We don't venture deep into the mountain cave before we're almost eliminated by the beasts."
"Alright. How many crystals do you have?"
"Four."
"That too much…" Emma shook his head.
He went back to his seat and folded his hand, not interested in the crystal. Seeing this, the thin young man was puzzled. He thought the crystal pique the interest of the legendary blacksmith.
"Is this not enough?" He asked with nervousness.
"Yeah. You expect me to forge an uncommon weapon with four measly crystals." Emma snorted.
Unknown to him, Emma was just hiding the glee in his heart. All his act was just bullshitting to get more from the thin young man.
Sighed. The thin young man shook his head and turned around preparing to leave the small shop.
What!
Emma widened his eyes. 'This doesn't follow the script.'
>>Hahaha. Lily's hysterical laughter echoed in Emma's head.
He cleared his throat and said with a thick voice.
"Are you just going to leave just like that?"
The thin young man halted on his track and turned to face Emma. "What should I do? This is all I've got. And these almost cost my life."
"Fine. I will make an exception for you. But you would have to do one thing for me?"
A rare smile appeared on the face of the young man. "What can I do for you?"
The deadly tournament was fast approaching and everyone was trying to get stronger. And mostly, a strong weapon was required to survive the deadly game.
"The location of the crystal. You will lead a team to excavate some crystal." Emma looked straight into the face of the young man with a grin.
Hearing this, the young man shuddered and took a step back. "I would rather continue to use my weapon than go to that dangerous place."
"Hear me out." Emma stood and approached the young man.
>>Why does it look like you're turning into a salesman?
'Of course, I'm a salesman. Do you know how many skills I learned before I reached where I am today?' Emma said proudly.
Lily rolled his eyes.
>>Your shenanigans have no bounds. You're a piece of trash before I join your life. It's me who is supposed to say such lines.
'Hmm? Don't tell me, you as a system have been a salesman before.'
>>…? Lily was tongue-tied. She didn't know what to say.
'Hahaha. I got you. In front of, I, your Grandfather. There is a lot for you to learn.'
Emma was smiling foolishly, creeping the shit out of the thin young man. The young man took a couple of steps back and guard his chest.
Hmm!
After Emma finished bantering with Lily. He regained his focus and saw the young man looking at him with a bizarre gaze.
>>Hahaha. Now, people would think you're into a man.
'Shit!'
He cleared his throat and said with a straight face. "You don't need to go deep into the mountain. You just show the location to the team and return. That, you can do, right?"
The thin young man rolled his big eyes and stared at Emma for a couple of seconds. After seeing him not making any strange movements. He breathes a sigh of relief.
'What does this prick think he is?' Emma cursed in his heart.
>>Hahaha.
>>Right, since I joined your life. I've never seen you with any lady. Perhaps…
'Shut up!'
"I can do that." The young man responded after thinking for a moment.
"Good!" Emma nodded and opened his Nagam interface.
___Quest.__
__Issue quest. Y/N
In a couple of seconds, he had finished setting the quest. Quickly, he sent out the quest to the young man. The young man received the quest.
Emma walked past the young man and came out of his shop. Outside the shop, there are a couple of people trying to meet him. But his rule made them queue outside.
However, when they saw the big rows of words placed at the entrance of the shop. The crowd descended into an uproar.
"Need an uncommon grade weapon. Accept the quest."
Unknown to Emma, a couple of black men stood at a hidden corner and monitored his shop.
"When there is no one around. We entered and finished the job quickly and took everything inside." A masked man whispered to the three people beside him.
