Something dawned on me just then. Something that Loona had said a few moments ago. Something that made my heart stop and my blood freeze in my veins.
"What do you mean that Jake doesn't deserve what they will do to him?" I looked into Loona's bright, shining eyes and glared at her. I needed to know what was going to happen. I needed to know why the wolves were afraid for Jake.
