"Man, you sure are hungry," Roy claimed as I gobbled up my breakfast.
Strange things happen to me in the past few days after upgrading my skill tree. My appetite seemed to increase, the normal size meal was no longer as filling as it used to be. I had to take two plates to satisfy my stomach.
It was as if my body was demanding more nourishment to support my newfound abilities. The transformation was both fascinating and somewhat unsettling, making me wonder what other changes might lie ahead.
"So. We're releasing the woman today?" Josie spoke, talking about the woman who had given birth to the goblin baby.
"Yes. Once we finish eating." I claimed, chugging up a mug of milk twice the size of a normal cup. "We'll drop her off at the police station. The rest is up to them."
"Won't she rat us out? Or frame us for keeping her in the portal?" Roy asked with worries in his eyes.
