The first time he killed a man when he was six, Ryver had felt intoxicated at the pleasant sensation of taking life with his hands he could literally feel his soul grow stronger in that moment, and that was when he knew...
"Adjust attributes and distribute as follow; 6 points to vitality, 3 points to agility and 3 points to strength and proceed to enhance, also close window."
A sudden feeling struck Ryver like a blazing storm. The feeling of his muscles hardening, his tendons strengthening, his flesh becoming tougher and his brain capacity becoming higher... Ryver could feel it all! And his body absorbed them like a sponge.
His three main attributes had increased to a terrifying extent his muscles spammed as energy flooded his entire being. Ryver has no idea how strong he himself has become at this very point.
Whoosh!
The fog sharply moved with the wind and suddenly, a flash of shadow appeared right in front of him. Ryver immediately crossed his axes in defence.
Clang!
A powerful force was immediately transmitted into his body, making Ryver's body shake as he retreated back five paces from the force, leaving deep imprint to the ground as the entire second floor of the garage shook slightly. The shadow was forced to halt, which now gave him the opportunity to see what he was truly dealing with.
The Licker, the same beast Jacob had shown him on his system. Jacob hadn't been lying after all, but the beast was even bigger now, almost twice its previous size but thankfully, it hadn't evolved to the 2nd degree yet otherwise the situation might be more grave than it already is. Ryver imagined it is going to be a lot more difficult to advance to the 2nd degree.
But even when the Licker hadn't advanced yet, its strength was remarkably high, and from their earlier clash, it was obviously even higher than Ryver's strength.
Ryver was apt to retreat even more backwards as the Licker emerged with a flash before him, clawing with speed at his face.
BANG!
The ground shook with the claw slamming into the ground, missing Ryver but a sharp object tore through the air fiercely like a bullet, stabbing at Ryver who managed to roll to the side, narrowly avoiding been stabbed by the tongue.
The Licker retreated back into the cloud of foggy radiation gathered that had gatheres by the activity within the area.
Ryver bent his knees slightly, with his body still as he listened to the sound of the wind and watched cautiously. The Licker has incredibly strength, but it's speed is even more greater. Even with his rise in agility and strength. Ryver could barely keep up with its speed and strength, making it difficult for him to track the beast down.
Swoosh!
The ground shook ever so, but Ryvwe was quick to react, he shifted sideways and a shadow flashed past him but the creature's agility was something else as it pounced at him from behind. Ryver's eyes flashed and he immediately stepped forwards with a stomp of his foot. His waist turned slightly as he transfered tremendous strength from the ground onto his right axe..
BANG!
An object was immediately sent rolling backwards unceremoniously. Ryver was slammed backwards as he rolled, his other axe cleaved at the ground, using it as leverage, he turned as he stablized his body, drawing deep lines on the concrete ground as the resultant force moved him backwards. The Licker remained standing, but it appeared to have been slightly stunned.
Ryver was fast to get on his feet, but he wasn't fast enough. His agility was only still ten points while the Licker had had enough time to gather Evolution points to increase its agility and strength.
Whoosh!
Ryver swiftly raised his axe and the sharp tougue stabbed towards him with a loud clanging noise. His hands trembled and he was forced to take a step backwards. The force within the tongue is even more powerful and faster than an average bullet.
There was a flash of shadow as the Licker moved, its tongue retracting back into its mouth like a whip as it appeared before Ryver all of a sudden, like a ghost.
Surprised, Ryver stomped heavily to the ground as he retreated, but while his reaction speed is ten times that of an ordinary human, he was still too slow as the Licker slashed its claw against his chest.
Ryver quickly shifted his hand, using the littlest amount of movement in the right time, swiftly raising one of his axe against his chest.
Clang!
His body was unceremoniously tossed backwards to the air, as he fell backwards to the ground, he made a back flip from the force, as he landed stably to the ground, staggering with the force.
Ryver quickly checked his chest and sighed in relief seeing as his skin hadn't been punctured by the creature.
But the side of his right axe had a slight claw imprint on it, signifying the amount of force within the attack.
Raaaaaugghh!
The Licker jumped to the edge of the garage which hadn't collapse from the nuclear attack, walking slowly up the railings as it observed Ryver, letting Ryver get an even clearer look of the beast before him. The beast had no eyes and only a swollen brain seem to cover almost half of its head. Its listening skills and sense of smell is incredibly sharp as it always manages to get Ryver's exact location before he even moved.
The fog rushed in to fill the space between them when it was suddenly divide as the Licker ran on all fours, turning into a flash arriving right in front of Ryver. Ryver's eyes brightened, "I've been waiting for this."
"Quake!"
A massive tremor passed through him like lightning and his muscles shivered incessantly as though the radiation were snowflakes falling from the sky, sending chills down his spine.
His face seem to flush red and his legs muscles expanded like a balloon as a massive rush of strength filled his entire body, moving towards his legs and as he stomped hardly to the ground, he immediately transferred all the strength into the ground.
Rumble!!!
The ground about three meter radius trembled violently, the ground breaking apart as though an earthquake had been contained within the three meter radius
The Licker was immediately trapped as it staggered unstably, waving its four limbs around, trying to stabilise its self within the trembling ground.
Not wasting a single second, Ryver grabbed both axe in hands and immediately threw the first one forward without warning.
BANG!
The foggy air immediately split apart, with the foggy radiation parting ways for David's axe. The Licker sensed the threat and immediately shot its sharp tongue towards him even while unsteady on its feet.
Ryver stomped heavily to the ground and his body turned to a blur as he swayed to the left then, abruptly to the right with basic Combat body movement used to dodge bullet at close range. The sharp tongue narrowly passed by his neck, avoiding been punctured.
Whoosh!
His axe shot through the air, heading towards the skull of the Licker, but it's reaction speed was incredibly high as it shifted its body even with the unsteady ground, letting the sharp axe miss its skull and hack into its shoulder.
Raaaaugh!
It screamed in agony, but Ryver wasn't done yet. He ran towards the beast with intense speed, and a sharp object flew out of his free hand, like a bullet, stabbing into the skull of the beast. It didn't seem enough, but was enough to disoriente the beast.
Leaping through the air, Ryver jumped and with the force of gravity adding to his leaping force, he brought down his axe with a whoosh and slashed heavily downwards.
BANG! Squesh!
The axe was embedded deep within the brain of the beast, splashing out a foul amount of beain fluid. It's head was split into two, all the way down to its shoulder.
