It was a Saturday afternoon, Tao Baihe already finished eating her lunch hours before.
She looks outside the window with those pink orbs of hers, both arms supporting her slouching position.
Remembering her Mother's words, she taught about the past...when she was known as 'The school idol' her grades back then would excel and she was known to be perfect in many ways.
But ofcourse even if Tao Baihe was popular around her school, she didn't actually had people to call friends they were more like her followers. Acting like she was some sort of celebrity, always complementing her.
And some, find fault in the simplest ways just to prove that even Tao Baihe has a 'dark side' or so that's what they taught.
Which made her think, being perfect is never what she wanted.
She does appriciate that her parents love her, but they expect too much. Staying at the top brings too much pressure on her.
Unlike in the game she doesn't really care if she'd end up last...as long as she is having fun she doesn't care at all.
She doesn't like it when someone forces her to stop doing what liked best. It feels as if she has no say in everything, when after all it's her life.
So why would she go back to being her parents perfect 'puppet'. When she already enjoys her life now, no one can control her every move, no one will finally decide her future, no one but HER...she has every right in everything she does.
*Ring! Ring! Ring!*
Tao Baihe's taughts were interrupted by a phone call, it seemed someone is calling her. But who's calling this hour? she can't help but ask herself that.
Walking towards the end of the hallway to where her phone was placed, on top of her average sized square table.
She looked at her slightly broken phone due to when she threw it yesterday. Imidiatly seeing the name, she tapped the 'accept' button.
Putting the phone near her ear, while strolling over to her bed. She sat by the side. "Hello" greeting the caller in a monotone way.
"Xiao Tao! you wouldn't guess what happened!" A female's voice replied, not bothering for the greetings and went straight to the point.
Tao Baihe lightly sighed before replying. "What has happened all so gorgeous lady Xin'er?" She smiled a bit while playfully rolling her eyes in amusement.
"Speak for yourself, you're always a gorgeous lady even in the early mornings."
Tao Baihe giggled at her freinds antics, does she really have to point out the obvious...?
"I know"
Xin'er couldn't help it but laugh at how arrogant Tao Baihe can be. "Ok princess, should I get you your Prince or is it that you already have one?" She talked back in a teasing tone.
"Oh please, no one would even dare to speak to the all powerful 'Goddess Of Combat Healing'" Tao Baihe countered back.
"Really now~ sooo what about that Zhi Yuan guy, you know that dude you always talk about for some odd reason..."
The blueberry haired girl blushed a bit, not really expecting the tease. She clutches on to her cheeks to keep them from heating up any longer.
Dropping her phone in the process, as it layed on the floor perfectly unharmed this time.
It's not that she likes that guy or anything, sure they both were always together when playing aside from when he sometimes disappear for some reason. But she definitely has no crush on him...right?
Right!
"Xia Tao, hello?"
The pink eyed girl, Tao Baihe muttered to herself. "Oh yeah she's still here" fixing her posture, she bends down to reach her phone.
"Huh? Did you say something?"
Tao Baihe imidiatly replied as she stutters a little. "N-no" placing her phone back near her ears.
"If you say so...anyway wanna hear some juicy news." Xin'er amusingly gossips.
Tao Baihe slowly started to go to her bed to lay down as she longingly gazed at the ceiling.
"You do know, not everything in the internet is true." She said as a matter of fact.
"Yeah yeah I know, but you better hear this in one way or another!!!" Her friend exclaims in excitement.

The next day, Tao Baihe was back to playing the Rpg game. Another normal day.
She was sitting on the rock near the waterfall, cultivating her power.
*Ding!*
Surprised by the sudden sound of the used to be peaceful environment. Tao Baihe jumped a bit, slipping out from the rock.
She fell on the water....
Her head pooped up from lake, a lotus flower sat on top of her head. She looked annoyed as an irk mark appeared on her temples.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME YOU STUPID SYSTEM!!!" Tao Baihe shouted out from the top of her lungs.
Some birds flew out and was scared at the monstrous noise.
Instead of the usual announcements, a notification message popped up. She read the letters out loud.
"Top 1 player, Goddess Of Combat Healing has received a gift from 'unknown'"
The blue translucent screen's message changed. She eyed the words carefully.
[Would you like to recieve said gift? Yes or No] it said on the screen.
"What even is this so called gift?" Tao Baihe wondered out of clear suspicion.
Letting it slide, she pressed 'Yes' what's the worse that could happen? She shrugs unbothered.
Suddenly a force was pulling her down to the ends of the lotus lake. Vines strangled onto her legs to pull her down even more.
She was holding her breath, drowning. Even in the game she couldn't swim but if so, why didn't she practiced?!
'What's the worse that could happen? Hah I practically jinxed myself.' Tao Baihe mocked herself for her choices inside her head, for she couldn't talk anymore due to the current situation.
'I should have probably just logged out...'
She finally stopped struggling and gave up since exhaustion came kicking in, closing her eyes to rest in the process.
Tao Baihe cursed a certain someone. 'If I have to start all over again, I'll kill that guy even if he isn't the reason for all this.' She thought, half joking.
...
Zhi Yuan sneezed. "Is someone talking ill about me again?" He questions to no one in particular while rubbing his nose.
