It was another day in the well-known Fenglin Country, a popular place near the waters. Where it's a spot for tourist attraction such as; lakes, waterfalls and many other beautiful natural resources.
The top in marine life, 70 percent of the place are filled with water. There are also six other countries varying in their specialty.
Inside a well-known academy for cultivation, Tao Baihe was in one of their classrooms as she is lazily sitting with her half opened eyes.
Her elbows resting on the table while she supports her head with it. Looking at the teacher that Tian Ling hired to teach her.
"There are 7 countries in the world that includes our Fenglin Country, can you tell me what they are and who rules over them." A deep and stoic voice barely questioned.
That was Master Chang Yunli, according to Tao Baihe his looks are a seven out of ten (7/10). Tan skin, neck length blonde and those ocean blue eyes. Professional looking clothes with a color scheme of white and royal blue throughout.
Although she taught his surname was a bit familiar for some reason...But that doesn't matter now, she has to say something.
Tao Baihe sighed before answering the man that was currently in front. "There are seven large countries: Hongshu, Yangzhi, Houbei, Niujing, Taolin, Yinzhu, and finally Fenglin." Annoyed at the fact that she had to learn boring things again, back to school I guess.
Although their history here is filled with more detailed information, making it further tiresome for the matter.
A few moments later, they were now talking about the spiritual levels and immortal roots of Cultivation.
[Lecture Time with our -newbie- Author!]
According to Master Chang Yun, there are many immortal roots but here are the most used and popular at current: Ice, Water, Thunder and Lightning, Fire, Nature, Time and space, Gravity, Mind and soul, Light and Dark.
To an immortal cultivator, the lesser they want to master a root in one leveling. The faster they'll progress in terms of immortal cultivation.
For example if there is someone with both ice and water root but they only want to cultivate using ice, then the higher chance they can cultivate faster than those who want to learn more than one since they will only focus on getting energy in that one and specific root.
But that is rarely happening now, if you have two immortal roots but only want to cultivate the other one then you have to suck up and deal with it. Two is better than having all eleven of them, if you're in that situation you can't do anything but give up on your dream in becoming a cultivator.
So to sum up, people with a single root have the best aptitude, followed by people with double immortal roots. The more roots someone has, the worse their aptitude are.
Fenglin Country is popular for many ice and water users, Hongshu in Thunder and Lightning, Yangzhi with Fire, Houbei for Nature, Nuijing on Time and space roots, Taolin for light and dark, and finally Yinzhu in Mind and soul.
Gravity isn't that much popular in any country, usually cultivators that have the immortal root of gravity are mostly travellers. And some use time and space, which is one of the hardest to master.
Fenglin Country's emperor is known to be a master of both water and ice. A wise man that has five aspiring (and handsome) sons.
Let's get back to our main topic, there are many spiritual levels for you to fully master the art of Cultivation. First is also the lowest that is Devine Intervention, next is Nascent soul, Resolution stage, Core Formation, Inceptive immortal, Immortal Divinity, Eternal Intervention.
Each spiritual level has their own five levels for you to break through to another stage or level.
[End of Lesson!]
The one on one class for Tao Baihe was finally over, the teacher already left as she remained in her seat.
Giving her now floating companion a side glance. "Hey, Piggy can I ask you something?" The girl follows a yawn, crossing her arms while resting her head on the table.
The said pig looked at her in seriousness when deep inside he was crying because he had to listen to the boring lecture, clearly forced to come by the annoying girl.
"Ask away."
When she heared it's reply, she continued. "Why am I even here. This is more boring than the game." Dramatically wailing here and there.
The pig sighed. "I don't know why I'm here either." Tao Baihe abruptly raised her head from the table, making it jump a little out of sudden surprise.
The girl grabbed the pig's head, squishing and stretching it's cheeks. "Then what is your use if you can't even help me!" Her bangs shadowed her eyes as it glimmers an immense red glow.
"If only you were a cute little rabbit instead of a delicious meal."
It was the next day, about 7 in the morning. Tao Baihe had the brilliant idea on going out for shopping, ofcourse she can't go out without permission.
She asked Tian Ling, he agreed but only if the girl brings atleast one servant girl with her to carry her items and look after her in case she gets lost or something.
The girl sighed as she really had no choice other than agreeing. She glanced at the market stalls, looking for the specific items she wished.
"My lady, please don't buy things that are not needed. It is the master's orders." Xin'er, the servant girl stated in a monotone voice much like a robot.
Although the servant girl's name is similar to Tao Baihe's best friend, the girl on the other hand acts nothing like her cheerful outgoing girl Xin'er back in the modern world.
"Yeah...sure."
