Anxi couldn't remember exactly how she got home after that, Xandria returned that morning like she said she would and was stunned to find her wearing her dress.
Luckily Xander showed up at the last minute and looked even more devastatingly handsome in a white T-shirt and ashes colored pants, leaving two to three buttons undone.
It looked like he just stepped out from some fashion magazine cover.
The scheming fellow immediately came up with a quick excuse that Anxi took a bath and he gave her permission to wear one of her dresses.
Xandria was quite taller than her so Anxi had to pick a short simple gown she could find, she didn't pick it herself but Xander did after saying…
"This should suit you, I don't want you getting lost in Xandria's outfit since you chose to be so small."
He was making fun of her again and she had to defend herself from being bullied by him, which he barely replied to and only rolled his eyes at her every statement.
Xandria wasn't offended to Anxi's delight and even complimented her on the outfit, then promised to take her out for shopping some day.
Xander had ordered one of his driver's to take her back home, that was after she made sure he had eaten and taken his medicine.
What she didn't know was that there was a small penthouse at the back of Xander's manor, he took her there and she got to know that his workers live there and if he needed them, he just had to call.
She was surprised and dumbfounded at the same time, it was actually a really nice thing but why weren't they leaving with him instead? Why separate them from his home?
They all bowed respectfully before Xander once he made his presence known, asking if he needed anything.
Anxi laid on her bed, thinking about everything that has transpired between the both of them and couldn't hide the bashful look on her face.
"He makes fun of me with every little chance he gets, but never fails to give me those stares that made me have a rethink."
She blushed at the thought, not until her gaze inadvertently landed on the helmet she snatched from that handsome red haired stranger yesterday.
"Ahh, I even forgot about this." She got out of bed and reached for the helmet on her study table, it brought back memories of exactly what she did to that annoying stranger, stepping on his foot and fleeing from the scene with his helmet.
She clicked her tongue at the sudden flashback, that courage she felt had dissipated, leaving her to ponder anxiously on the repercussions of her act, who knows what will happen to her if they cross paths again, he'll definitely get his revenge for sure!
But he was equally handsome to be honest, if she were to compare him with Xander then...…...
"..."
She gave up even at the thought of trying.
"Xander's looks are just out of this world, even for himself." She admitted. Despite how charming the stranger was, he was in noway close to Xander's level of charms.
"His parents must have been really beautiful then, to have actually giving birth to someone like him."
She placed her hand at the right side of her chest and her eyes widened in shock at how fast it drummed, she actually thought she was hearing beats from the neighboring home outside and all this time it was her heart???
She found herself grinning as she dropped the helmet back on her study table. She glanced through her stack of books on her lower shelf close to her bedside cupboard and brought out the magazine which had Xander's pictures on them. He was helping a fashion company advertise their outfits.
Based on his good-looks and bewitching physique, he was known as the most handsome and it hit a very hot list!!
She stared at his pictures through the magazine and every facial angle of his way captured with such great mobility, those crystal black eyes, the smirk, his enticing physique.
"Please don't make me like you so much."

Xander preferred sitting at the balcony in his room while staring at the calm and comforting view of the blue sky, it was his favorite place in the whole house and he couldn't stop thinking about the time he had with Anxi.
Xandria sat on the swing as she stared at him, watching him suspiciously and most times, even caught a hint of smile on his lips to the point she couldn't deal with it anymore.
"Xander, I really like to know exactly what you're thinking cause you've been smiling to yourself for some time now."
He glanced her way and her hazel eyes were already fixated on him with an expectant gaze, anticipatedly waiting to hear the gist.
"Doesn't concern you." Was his response before he averted his gaze and she sighed deeply.
"Who said anything about concern? Let me in on the gist."
"Shut up."
"I see you're back to your old self again." She commented, sounding very impressed. "Anxi really did a good job in taking care of you then, you were so down yesterday but you feel a lot better already."
"That's because you were doing a bad job." He met her gaze and she pouted in annoyance, an ungrateful soul!!
"Fine then, probably if you fall sick again, I'll just call Anxi over and she'll remedy you herself, hmph!!"
She noticed the tiny glints of sparkles in his eyes each time she mentioned her name. This is really unusual. Does her brother have a thing for Anxi? Is that possible?
"She did, I felt really glad cause someone showed up out of the blue today."
He met his sister's confused gaze as she asked, "who?"
"The elder demons."
Xandria's pupils dilated and her expression went pale at the mention of the elder demons, she looked like someone who was about to have a nervous breakdown, they came here???
"Was Anxi around?"
He nodded. "I locked her up here on time before they got a chance to see her, those peasants couldn't find a suitable time to pay me a visit."
"Mind your words Xander, they're higher demons"
The elder demons are the highest and most powerful demon rank back in the realm, one could equally count Devil King being part of them, no one dares to disobey the elder demons, not even her.
"Does it look like I'm bothered?"
No one except Xander of course. Although she barely spoke to any of them, Xander and the higher demons tend to pay each other many unwelcome visits but it's usually rare, what brought about the sudden visit??
"Why were they here?"
"To disturb my peace, they're planning some stupid ceremony at hunter street and I'm forced to be a part of it"
"Are you going?"
"Why do you ask silly questions like you have no idea what my answers are?"
Xandria frowned at his statement, this boy is really something else. "You can't refuse them."
"Well I did." He added, "they can take our cousins, I have nothing to do with any of them. I just want them to leave me alone so I can focus on getting my revenge."
"You're only stirring trouble for yourself." She reminded him, refusing the elder demons was something he shouldn't have done but this devil of a brother only smirked and finally uttered.
"Nice, I love trouble."
Xandria finally gave up.
