"Woah! You did what??"
Damian nearly choked on the glass of beer he was drinking, unable to hide the surprise and shock in his tone the moment Xander broke down the information for him.
"I refused an elder demon but that's not important, what I'm more concerned about is the fact that I like Anxi."
"Wow!" Damian relaxed on his chair as he tried to swallow all of Xander's words.
"Okay…..but why are you so anxious then?"
He asked, noticing how restless his friend looked as he tapped his fingers anxiously on the table, all because of a woman!
"What if she says no?" Just thinking about it was enough to make his heart race, he made such a stupid decision and this is practically the first time he was willing to call himself stupid.
He couldn't stop thinking about her even if he wanted to, nowadays he preferred working at home just cause the sight of her was enough to make his brain go into a reload.
He needed to clear his head so he went out for a drink with Damian at one of the most famous and secluded restaurants. He had a lot of work to do but his mind has been completely elsewhere these past few weeks.
"Bruh, with a lady like her, I can't decide but stay positive brother." Damian tried to motivate his confused friend and took another sip of his red wine.
"If she ends up refusing then I doubt I'd be able to see her with someone else, I won't allow it."
"What do you plan on doing then? Kill the person she ends up with or something?" Damian jokingly said but was even more baffled to see Xander thinking about it, is he serious right now??
"As long as you don't tell her I'm the murderer."
"Dude."
"Shut up don't lecture me, if it were any other lady I wouldn't even feel an inch anxious of how I feel right how."
"When do you plan on telling her?"
"I don't know." Xander wasn't the type of person who was good at expressing his feelings, that's the main reason why he never expresses them but there was something urging him to do it.
His inner demons are already affected by her, they won't let him be until he has her.
"Come on, sure girls like her act all 'hard to get' but you're Xander remember? Don't worry, I'm sure it'll turn out well."
"You don't seem to understand she's different, she resists my kisses most times and I find myself forcing her which..."
"Hold up a minute, did I hear kisses??" Damian raised a brow in an inquiring manner as he locked his astonished gaze to Xander who immediately realized what he just did.
"Sh*t!" He pinched the skin in between his brows as he avoided Damian's shocking gaze, his body language was enough for Damian to click it all together.
"How many times?"
"Are you f**king kidding me right now??"
"Dude, answer me."
Xander met his gaze but Damian couldn't hold back the smile of mischief crossing his lips.
"Twice?"
"No."
"Three times?"
"No."
Damian could barely speak, more than three times??
"Dude how many?"
"I don't know... Maybe four? Five? you don't expect me to count do you??"
"Five times??" Damian was bound to be surprised, he's been with Xander since they were like... kids and this MF barely knew anything about women.
He was the one who would force Xander into interacting with the girls, not because Xander doesn't want it but because they'd fall for him at first glance.
Till they grew up, he was still the one who'd force Xander into having a make out session with someone before the world considers him gay and even then, the ladies would come to him and say Xander barely even kissed them.
Now this dude, the same dude, pulled a kiss on his little secretary.
Not once but five times!!!
Damian couldn't hold back a chuckle seeing the nervousness in his friends eyes.
If someone told him a lady could do this to his friend, he'd never believe it, like he would stick his hands into boiling coals and still not believe it.
"She's really done something to you hasn't she?"
Xander looked away from his friend, unwilling to answer that.
He was from a very powerful family, the Zephyr family, whatever he says goes, lots of girls want him and he could have as many of them as he wants, so how could he possibly like someone as her?
But he did anyways without expecting it.
He fell for his little bunny.
But he had feelings too, even when he hadn't realized his own feelings for her, he secretly wished his little bunny would fall in love with him, he felt anxious each time he thought she never felt the same or resisted him.
"Does she know you're the same person at the hotel though?" Damian questioned while taking a sip of his drink, Xander shook his head in response, obviously wasn't expecting such a question.
"No."
"What? You've got to tell her man, trust me."
"Tell her??" Xander had never really thought about telling her something like that.
"Yes, she needs to know so things don't go wrong or even more complicated. You didn't touch her, you actually let her go so I'm sure she'll understand, she's a good and smart girl."

Anxi had just stepped out of a store, holding a caramel latte in her hand as she scooped some with her spoon and shoving it gently into her mouth.
She enjoyed walking during the weekends cause those were times when she didn't get bombarded with files.
She already called Xandria earlier to confirm if the arrogant Mr took his medicine or not, luckily he did which made her feel more at ease.
She happily strode by when a certain someone bumped into her without warning, making her stagger back a bit due to the impact but regained her balance soon enough as she raised her head up to look at who she bumped into.
"I'm so sorry I…" her voice trailed off mid sentence after realizing who she just bumped into, staring straight into those deep blue eyes she recognized very well and her heart nearly stopped.
"It's you!"
Ryan stared at the person who had dared to run away with his helmet, he sized her up with his gaze, she was wearing a milky colored gown, unlike last time she let her hair loose today, letting it fall past her back and she looked really pretty.
Wait….. why does he keep getting swayed by her beauty all the time??
"Your time is up." He said to her, his tone was just as cold but it was Anxi who freezed up like ice.
She remained at her spot while her brain went on a rampage, she suddenly pointed at something behind him.
"Look!"
He scoffed as he stared at her slender fingers, he wasn't going to fall for that old trick.
"What are you doing?"
Anxi instantly realized her plan to distract him so she could flee didn't work. She knew this day would come but she didn't expect it to be so soon.
"Any last words?"
Anxi didn't utter a word and took to her heels, but unfortunately, luck didn't seem to be at her side today as she suddenly slipped while trying to run away.
"Ahh!!" She was expecting to land on the hard floor when someone saved her on time as her hands were grabbed.
Realizing she hasn't hit the ground yet, she opened her eyes only to see the charming being had saved her from falling as he held her hand and pulled her back up.
"Nice try."
Anxi didn't mind falling as long as her caramel latte was still intact. She thanked the heavens for saving her caramel latte but who's going to save her now from this bully???
She nervously met his gaze, giving him the puppy dog eyes.
"Spare me and I promise to return your helmet to you."
She looked so adorable staring at him in such a manner to the point he actually felt like teasing her, he brought out his phone, handing it to her as he uttered with the same emotionless tone.
"Drop your number."
"Hmm?"
"In order to get my helmet, I need to first contact you, isn't that so helmet stealer?"
Anxi felt like crying the moment he called her a helmet stealer but she had no tears to shed, first Xander gives her nicknames, now him??
She stared at the phone which was stretched out to her and with trembling fingers, she took it.
~
Xander who was sitting at the restaurant not far from where the scene was happening had caught sight of Anxi in that stranger's arms, his gaze darkened further seeing her drop her number on his phone.
"That's definitely not happening!" He got to his feet.
