Chaos opened his eyes before looking down at his body.
Since the refinement process was almost complete, he wanted to examine his body one last time before handing back the body to Ivan.
But when Chaos appeared within his sea of consciousness, he found out that Ivan was nowhere to be found.
"Ah…fuck." He silently cursed to himself.
Worried about the young boy's safety, Chaos quickly connected his soul to his mind.
Within seconds after connecting his soul to his sea of consciousness, the water began transmitting his senses to the four corners of his mind to ease his search.
"Aha! Found him!"
Chaos became relieved when he found the boy's presence.
From what the waves were telling him, Ivan was currently swimming near the coral reefs north of his current location.
"The coral reefs…wait a minute, isn't that the home of one of my beast kings, the Coral King? Fuck, I'd better get there quick!"
When Chaos remembered a few things about the Coral King, his face couldn't help but become solemn.
The Coral King was a giant sea serpent that ruled an ocean planet called Neptune. It was the king of the planet for several millennia before it got caught and tamed (beat into submission) by Chaos.
Back when Chaos had first met the Coral King, the giant sea serpent had arrogantly postured and looked down on him for being an insignificant mortal.
That same mortal soon became annoyed by the sea serpent's trash talk that he destroyed the ocean planet with a slash of his sword.
Thus, Chaos made the Coral King a homeless dog that had to bow its pitiful head before the insignificant mortal since it had nowhere else to go.
Of course, Chaos gave it a few more beatings to quell his heart's annoyance before accepting the Coral King as his familiar.
Chaos wasn't scared of the Coral King. Instead, he was scared that the Coral King would treat Ivan as an intruder and devour his soul.
After all, it was a familiar's duty to protect their master's sea of consciousness. Killing off intruders was part of the familiar's job.
Without wasting another second, Chaos quickly flew over to the Coral King's residence, aka Rainbow Lagoon.

When Chaos reached Rainbow Lagoon, he was greeted by fishes and sea critters moving about their day within the various coloured coral reefs located in the shallow waters.
He looked left and right, and even released his divine sense. Yet, he still couldn't find the boy.
'Weird, the waves told me he was last seen here. Where else could he have gone besides here?'
Chin in hand, Chaos thought for a moment.
"Ding!" Just then, Chaos's divine sense started sending him signals as if it had detected something.
'My divine sense has detected a familiar presence in the north! Wait, in the north? Isn't that…Leviathan's domain?'
Realization hadn't fully formed yet when Chaos released his divine aura and flew away, scaring everything within the south part of his mind into submission.
The Coral King too, was woken up by its master's divine presence. It was already sweating buckets when it had come to its senses.
'That was…master? I thought he only releases his divine aura when he's pissed? Ah!' When the shape of a young boy surfaced within the Coral
King's mind, it couldn't help shudder in fear.
'Leviathan, that son of a bitch, he's going to die.' Coral King decided to pray for his colleague to get into fish heaven when the master deals with him later.

Endless Ocean, home to the King of Water Dragons, Leviathan. It lies in the northernmost part of Chaos's sea of consciousness.
Unless one has a specific goal here, their astral forms may not be able to last for more than an hour scouring through this endless body of water.
Chaos would always send his foes into this domain if he wanted to torture them.
Not only were his enemies thrown into the middle of Endless Ocean, they had to remain vigilant at all times in case Leviathan decided to show up and devour them into nothingness.
Chaos soon arrived at the very edge of the Endless Ocean.
There, he saw the first familiar he had ever made a contract with, Leviathan.
It was a sea serpent comparable to the World Snake, Jormungandr.
It was the king of water dragons and possessed the absolute water attribute, thus giving it dominance over everything related to water.
Chaos spent many months tracking this beast down before finally making a contract with it.
No beating was involved since Leviathan conceded almost immediately when Chaos held his god slayer blade at its neck.
"What a prideless mythical beast…" Chaos mocked Leviathan, disappointed that the myths had overexaggerated the brutality of the sea serpent.
He expected the king of water dragons and sea serpents to put up a fight before submitting before him.
Alas, Leviathan had exceeded all of Chaos's expectations and pledged loyalty to him almost immediately after the fight had just started.
In Leviathan's defense, the Water Dragon King dropped all of his pride to become Chaos's loyal dog to avoid getting cut by the God Slayer Sword.
Like its name implied, a mortal can kill gods with the God Slayer Sword. Chaos had obtained the sword as reward from his system after completing 10 SSS rank quests perfectly.
Not only that, the system was quite generous to have also bestowed the Beast Taming skill to Chaos that time.
Thus, Chaos decided to become a beast tamer for his subclass and went off to search for the fiercest and most terrifying mythical beasts.
Chaos couldn't help but reveal a warm smile when he thought back to his first encounter with Leviathan.
'Hm?' After smiling for a bit, his eyes slowly moved over to the small shadow riding on the Water Dragon King's head.
'Isn't that…Ivan?'
Chaos couldn't believe his eyes.
Not only did Leviathan allow Ivan to ride on his head, Ivan had gone ahead and stuck 2 iron swords into Leviathan's head to use as guard rails.
Ivan waved back at him when the boy saw Chaos from Leviathan's head.
