Ivan flipped his system screen multiple times yet was still unable to find out where the holographic screen appeared from.
"Is this magic? Is this what magic feels like? Can…can I use magic now??"
The clueless boy started imitating his old friends and chanted long boring magic chants at the empty in front of him, somehow forgetting he was still stuck inside his own sea of consciousness.
His neighbor, Chaos and his best friend, Leviathan watched him make a fool of himself from afar.
"Should we….go ahead and tell him?" Leviathan began to cringe at Ivan's actions and asked.
"No, let me enjoy this funny sight a bit longer first." Chaos shook his head before replying.
Minutes slowly passed by before Ivan soon realized that his Martial Dao System was not made from magic.
Even without being able to cast magic, he should still be able to feel the presence of mana from the system if it was created through magic.
He thus concluded that the system was an artifact of unknown origin out of his field of knowledge.
Further research would prove useless since this was his first time possessing this type of artifact.
"Close system." Ivan followed the instructions written in his system to hide away his system.
He then exited his sea of consciousness by thinking of an exit door within his mind and walked through it.
Upon returning to reality, Ivan's vision blurred for a while before it slowly returned to normal.
Since time moves differently when a person enters their own mind, it's normal for the person to feel jet lag since their mind's time has yet to align with their body's time.
Ivan's jet lag only lasted for a few minutes since his system helped him alleviate the pain.
The boy however, did not know this and instead blamed it on the lack of sleep he had these days due to clearing the trials of the Insanity Hell.
And so, Ivan put away his notes and pen back into his jacket before dozing off to sleep.
He decided he'll continue the experiments tomorrow.
The next day, Chaos and Leviathan were busy discussing strategies to beat up the motherfucker who made Insanity Hell when they heard a loud explosion.
"28 Phases of the Roaring Moon, 1st phase! Roaring Moon Fist!"
"Boom" When the manifestation of a silver fist collided with the mountain wall, the entire mountain wall along with the surrounding land shook violently.
Ivan took out his pen and notebook before he began to jot down his new observations about the experiment.
It was currently day 2 of Ivan trying to break through the mountain wall using a basic martial art he read about from a martial arts novel when he was little.
His Creation Arts had ranked up when Ivan unleashed the 40th Roaring Moon Fist at the stone wall.
With his Creation Arts at D rank now, the boy could recreate a higher level Roaring Moon Fist that dealt higher damage to the stone wall.
This in turn, sped up his experiments since his previous attempts at unleashing Roaring Moon Fists at the stone wall barely had any results.
At the moment, the sturdy stone wall that Ivan barely did any damage towards yesterday now had a crater 3 inches deep.
Ivan felt delighted when he saw that his experiments were finally showing results.
'Ha, I knew it! I can do anything with martial arts as long as I'm patient enough. Once I break out of here, I'm going to go show my achievements to the headmaster! I bet he'll finally change his mind about martial arts….' [Ivan]
It was now the third day since Ivan entered the last room of Insanity Hell.
The crater Ivan made by repeatedly unleashing Roaring Moon Fists at the stone wall had grown significantly bigger compared to day 2.
As always, Ivan continued to unleash Roaring Moon Fists at the stone wall until he got tired and decided to take a break.
He would then sit in a cross legged position before he started to meditate to calm his beating heart.
Calm Mind and Controlled Breathing were great help towards the boy.
Unbeknownst to the boy however, whenever Ivan would close his eyes to meditate, Leviathan would force his consciousness into a state of hibernation while Chaos appears to take ahold of Ivan's body.
Chaos would then read through Ivan's notes for that day.
"I'm impressed, the boy has actually reached minor success in mastering a fictional martial art. Roaring Moon Fist...Heh, the boy might just be able to turn this fictional martial art with my creation arts."
"Though I am saddened to see my creation magic has turned into a martial art that allows the user to recreate other martial arts. I, the Paladin of Death, dominated my world with a sea of indestructible swords, and not with energy based attacks like the 28 Phases of the Roaring Moon..."
While he reminisced about his glory days, he still couldn't understand how he lost his original body and turned into a ball of light that dwelled within the body of a child.
Adding on to that, the system that led him to conquer the universe got devoured and absorbed into Ivan's Martial Dao System.
Chaos was now merely a ball of light that was powerless to do anything.
Alas, Chaos decided to not think about it anymore. What's done is done.
Closing the notebook in his hand, Chaos looked towards the stone wall for a moment.
He mouthed the word "Break." at the stone wall before returning Ivan's body back to him.
When Ivan opened his eyes later, he couldn't help but stare at the stone wall in shock.
Unknown to when or why it happened, the stone wall had already been broken through.
