Eisha gazed into his eyes, she saw concern, unlike the hostility that she expected of the person that was keeping her captive.
"My head hurts a little bit," she uttered feigning a sad and pained expression on her face. "How did I end up here?" she asked in a soft scared tone of voice.
The man stared at her from head to toe. He had come to visit her in the night while she was unconscious with a drip in her hand. He saw the wounds that she had, the doctor was to return later in the day.
The girl's hand was broken, and according to the doctor, she would not be able to lift it for at least two weeks. Her leg and a few bones in her chest were fractured. And yet there the girl sat with no hint of being in pain. Her hand was fine and the open wounds had healed.
"Please, help me," Eisha asked reaching her hand to him. She was asking for help getting up.
The man remained in his spot unmoving, people didn't just magically heal overnight. Even a small cut on their hand took a week or more to heal, he was convinced that the girl was normal. He wasn't taking any chances and going near her. Instead, he examined her from where he stood.
She had long black hair that laid gently on her shoulders. Her pretty ocean blue eyes had a small glint of deviousness in them. Pink thin lips slightly parted in an alluring way that gave off the vibe of an invitation for a kiss.
She had a slim figure and was fitting into the nightdress he ordered for her quite well. His conclusion of her was simple, she looks like a normal girl but held many secrets behind every inch of her being. He hated secrets, they had a way of destroying everything that he had.
While he was checking her out, she was taking her time examining him too. The most interesting person that had caught her attention in all her years of being alive. She bit her lip and gazed at him taking every inch of him into memory.
"I find it hard to remember, mind helping me recall how I ended up here?" she asked him getting up.
The man looked at her, his hair was a little messy, and in the bright morning sunlight, Eisha was sure that he would look even more handsome. Too bad she didn't have her ring and couldn't let the light of the sun into the room.
In one quick move Eisha stood before him, she didn't know him but was drawn to him like a magnet. Her breath hitched, being up close with the man was not at all what she had imagined. He wasn't fazed by her movement and remained completely calm. It was her heartbeat that sounded so loud.
'Oh God, what are you doing to me,' she thought.
The man-made her want to be vulnerable before him. To have him care for her and look at her with tenderness in his eyes, was unlike her.
"You had a voice a moment ago, what became of it?" she raised the question hoping to motivate him to chirp in a word or two. "At least give me the honor of knowing your name?"
Eisha waited for a reply from the man but it never came, he simply turned around and exited the room. Not willing to let her new interest go, she rushed up behind him to catch up with him. "My name is Eisha Sallow," she extended her hand for a handshake.
The man ignored her hand and kept walking. Eisha frowned, she wasn't that bad looking, she was dead gorgeous if she could say so herself. She had many suitors in the past who were attracted to her beauty and being a vampire. It was impossible for her to age, she was still as beautiful as she was back then.
So she didn't get why the handsome male was avoiding her, she wasn't going to bite him. The man marched to the door with Eisha following him to get to know him, he opened the door and turned around to show Eisha out of his house. Eisha was gone.
"Where did she disappear to?" he uttered.
His eyes scanned around to try and find her. He needed to get rid of her as soon as possible, it was the only way that he would get some peace in his house.
"Over here," Eisha called for his attention from the second floor.
He could have sworn that she was right behind him not too long ago. It didn't make sense how she got up there too quickly.
"Get down here!" he demanded of her.
"Not until you close the door," Eisha said. She was not up for burning in the sun, death was not on her to-do list anytime shortly.
"You need to leave my house this instant!" he uttered to her.
"Unless you are going to come up here and make me, I don't see that happening," Eisha stated to him. "Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to get some rest," she said and stormed off.
"Master, Aldrin," the head maid entered the room. She had heard people talking and got curious as to who it was that was disturbing the peace of the house with the master at home.
She was surprised to find that it was none other than the master that was causing the noise. Stunned and shocked, she didn't know what to say after calling out to him.
"So that's his name," Eisha spoke out in the room. "Aldrin," she whispered his name, a bright smile blooming on her face.
She strolled over to her room, her mind wandering about the handsome master that had captured her eyes.
