Chapter 5 - I won't be leaving

Eisha lay in bed daydreaming about Aldrin. Her eyes saw him in every direction she turned. An experience that was new to her, she wasn't used to being starstruck by someone.

The master of the house had caught her eyes and attention in every way possible. The smiles on her lips were real, it had been long since she felt the magic she sensed the very moment that Aldrin came into her view.

The man forced her to act like a damsel in distress. Someone weak that needed help, something that she would never dream of doing even in her worst nightmare.

Ever since she became a vampire, Eisha has never needed saving. She always ensured that she had the last word in, she broke before she was broken and instilled fear in others before they had a chance to petrify her.

She was the untouchable vampire that had terrorized all corners of the world. Forcing all supernaturals to team up to destroy her. A legend that she had been proud of until that moment when she found her weakness.

A gorgeous man that refused to give her a simple smile. Eisha had no intentions of leaving the house, whether she got her ring back or not, she was never going away from Aldrin.

She rolled over on the bed while playing with her hair. For the first time since she was human, she felt the need to take care of her looks. To look presentable for Aldrin.

And that meant taking into consideration her killing instincts and avoiding a killing spree. She intended to draw Aldrin to her not chase him away by showing him how bad a predator she was.

Eisha raised her head and turned her attention to the door. She was looking forward to seeing Aldrin's face again. But when the person arrived in her view, her smile dropped noting that it wasn't him.

"Hello," Jadon greeted her.

Eisha didn't bother to reply. To her, he was a walking blood bag that she wouldn't mind digging her fangs in. Such was never her concern. She didn't care about courtesy when it came to people like him at all.

"I got your ring. It fell in the car when you..."

Jason stopped in his statement when Eisha arrived before him and snatched the ring from him. She placed the ring on and sighed with relief. Being without her daylight ring placed her at a disadvantage that she didn't like.

"You have done well to return it," Eisha uttered strongly with a booming smile. "Now, if you could be so nice as to inform your master that I will need to change clothes. I would appreciate it," she added.

"I've been instructed to drive you home," he spoke out.

"This is my home, I'm not going anywhere," Eisha said firmly. She didn't blink or hesitate in what she said.

Aldrin was her sole purpose in life and where he stays is where she was going to call home. Since the house, she stood in happened to be that, it was foolish of them to assume she was going to leave.

"Tell your master as you relay my request that I won't be leaving this house," she added.

She wasn't foolish to leave the house, she wasn't invited in when she came inside, she was carried into the room. If she goes out, she won't be able to come back in.

A chance that she was not willing to take.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible," Jadon tried to reason with her.

Eisha was unfazed by him. She had already given her decision and there was no discussion of otherwise.

It was her way or no way. She gets what she wants or she gets what she wants. That's how things work around her. And soon Aldrin and everyone was going to understand that.

"Your fears have been heard. You can go and relay my message to your master," Eisha uttered and threw herself on the bed.

She returned to daydreaming about her beloved, Adrin. Her eyes sparkled at the thought of the man. The recollection of his magnetic voice as he spoke made her heart skip a beat.

She could listen to him speak for a lifetime and still not get tired of his beautiful voice.

Jadon felt helpless, downstairs Aldrin was insisting that he gets the girl out of the house by all means necessary. And up here the girl was giving orders as though she owned the place.

He was confused. He had run over the girl with a car and there was a possibility that she could file a case against him at the police station. Since he was driving the boss's car then his boss would be dragged into the matter.

For someone who hated being in the spotlight, that would be a scenario that could get him fired by his boss.

As for the girl, she seemed fine. Which was strange for someone who had a lot of broken bones the previous night. It was hard to believe her to be the same girl that he had run over.

"Staring into the distance for long is bad for your health young man," Eisha spoke out.

Jadon turned on his heels to go and talk to his boss. To see if they could find a way to get rid of the girl in a way that won't get them in trouble.

"Don't forget to relay my message to your master," Eisha shouted as he was walking out of the door.

Jadon shook his head. The girl had no idea who she was messing with, if his boss lost his temper then the girl would vanish from the surface of the earth never to be seen or heard of again.

He pitied her, the fate of anyone who defied his boss was inevitable destruction.

Eisha felt his longing stare and twirled her head in his direction. The look on Jadon's face was one that she had never seen before, at least not directed at her. It gave her a strange feeling.

She was used to the look of fear and hate in people's eyes but not the look in Jadon's eyes. The look felt like he was feeling sorry for her.

Which was a look she knew well, it was a look people gave the ones on the receiving end of her wrath. Not to her, the situation felt wrong.

'I hope for your sake that you aren't pitying me,' she thought.
