"So, do we take them aboard the Wife or not?"
The two pirate captains were pacing around on the deck, exchanging wary looks over their prisoner, who was seated, but not tied. That would have been a bit redundant, with two men aiming their pistols at him while the captains watched.
"He is willing to betray his own mission," Daniel said. "I don't see any reason why he would go on to become a more trustworthy person."
"I have to agree with you," Mariana said, although she did not like the thought of shedding any blood today. "He has proven himself to be quite the cur. They didn't put up much of a fight."
"Aye, but there was a good reason for that!" the prisoner exclaimed.
