Akina Sumeragi went outside her house to buy some snacks in a department store outside. All the while she was walking, Hakki kept talking to her, mumbling about how insane and surreal the emergence of technology is in this day and age.
"Hey, why are you not responding?" Hakki asked her. Akina sighed. "Because other people are not able to see you, dumbass. I would look like a crazy person talking to myself if I did." She replied after looking back left and right as she realized that nobody was in the alleyway.
"Hang on, this is a perfect spot to test out your aim, actually." Hakki walked in front of her and stopped her from taking another step forward.
"Eh, are you sure?" Akina was doubting it, but Hakki was pretty insistent as he materialized his black bow out of nowhere with his hands. "This bow means a lot to me. It was made by my worshippers thousands of years ago, well, not that I have any left right now…" Hakki uttered.
Akina picked up the bow and examined it. This was the second time that she was able to pick up Hakki's bow. "So, this is the weapon of a Kyoshi spirit, huh?" She asked herself.
The details were fine and the engravings were masterfully crafted. Hakki handed her a quiver of arrows afterwards. "Here."
She caught it mid air and stopped walking, Hakki took the liberty of picking up spare cans and bottles which were laying down on the ground and arranged them somewhere.
"Go on ahead and hit the middle one. Remember, you have to imagine that there is some sort of line in front of you and your target. That way, you can visualize hitting it much better." Hakki walked her through the steps. He noticed that Akina had bad posture and was timid while aiming the arrow. The Kyoshi spirit shook his head and adjusted her posture himself, Akina panicked for a brief moment as he was touching her back. "H-Hey!" She blurted out. "That is good enough, you have to keep your body in line and in shape if you want to be a good marksman."
"I did not want to be anything else but a good university student just a couple of days ago, you know? This is basically your own fault that I got dragged into this." She said with an angry yet calm tone directed at Hakki which scared the Kyoshi spirit.
He then proceeded to teach her how to shoot arrows for thirty minutes. "Hey, you really got it down pretty quick, didn't you?" Hakki uttered out. "Heh. Do not underestimate my physical prowess, after all, I was in the national track and field team back in middle school. I may be a bit rusty now, but my endurance and cardio are not something to scoff at." Akina proudly stated.
Something from behind them was slowly creeping up, with the shadows as its shield from vision and being seen.
"Akina! Look out!" Hakki shouted as he pointed behind her. It was a human, another human just like Akina. She sighed a sigh of relief as soon as she realized it was not a spirit.
But something was definitely off about this person. Purple aura started to emanate from his body. "Careful, I do not think that is just a mere human." Hakki warned her.
