Chapter 26: First stage Body Refinement
"Okay system. Let's get to it!."
After entering the World Bead Michael wasted no time in getting things ready for his first round of body refinement.
According to the manual the system gave him. The first part of the manual was made up of five stages. Bones, Organs, Muscles, Skin, and Full Body Tempering.
As anyone could guess. First you had to use precious materials to strengthen the bones so that your body wouldn't crumble over the weight of its own body.
Next you would do the same for the rest of the stages except for the fifth stage.
On the fifth stage. The technique would use more precious materials and ores to set a sturdy foundation for the body. Tempering it over and over again until every bone, muscle, joints and fibers of the body were fully replaced creating a completely different and stronger body.
Therefore after making a couple of calls to set up a meeting with whoever was running his business and any other important employees Michael created a huge hot tub inside the world bead.
After that he took out a couple hundred rare herbs and threw them in the tub.
Michael got the herbs from Rook Park.
curious to see what would happen if he planted them in the world bead, Michael went ahead and did it. Next thing you know, fields as far as the eyes could see were filled with such plants.
Therefore the non existing restraint of the use of such precious materials occurred.
Afterwards Michael used many precious stones, ores, including category five and six ores purchased from the system for only one credit point per ore and threw them inside the hot tub.
After that, Thanks to the word bead. The hot tub's temperature began to rise and the contents of the tub began to heat up and transform from a solid to a liquid.
It didn't take long for everything in the hot tub to melt. Afterwards even the steam coming out of the tub began to let out a very rich and soothing aroma. The aroma was extremely soothing to the point where after just taking a whiff of it Michael felt like taking a nap.
If it wasn't because of the systems warning Michael would be taking the nap of his life right about now.
"System? I'm done prepping the Nurturing soup. What do you recommend? Should I just go in or should I wait for it to cool down?."

That's a great question! You have three paths to choose from. I'll state their benefits and drawbacks for you.
#1. You can go inside the tub and let your body absorb the Nurturing soup and reach the minimum standard for the bone section of stage one. Your bones won't be the strongest according to the manual but you will experience Less pain by doing so.
#2. You can break all the bones in your body and enter the Nurturing soup. After your body absorbs all the precious materials your body will reach the best result by strengthening your bones to their peak and healing them completely from any damage. The down side to this is the pain threshold is almost unbearable to a mortal's body.
#3. Lastly..the system recommends option three. You can buy Thousand Sand Gold from the system and add it to the Nurturing soup. Thousand Sand Gold is a special type of gold and a rare one at that. It is used in weapon refinement, spell casting, Wards and even body cultivation. Anything energy related. If you add it to the Nurturing soup and damage at least ninety percent of your body you can directly complete stage one of the body refinement manual. The only downside of this option is the possibility of Death, Excruciating pain, Loss of limbs, Damage to the soul....ect.

Option three might sound bad, but the good outweighs the bad.
Besides directly completing the first stage of body refinement. Thanks to The Thousand Sand Gold your body would essentially now become an artifact. Not only would it grant you a great upgrade in strength and defense but it will also allow you to directly absorb and direct Magic.
And even though your understanding of magic and what it entails is rather limited. To be able to harness magic and direct it on a whim is no easy feat. But it is 100% worth it.
Listening to the system preach about the benefits of option three Michael couldn't help but feel tempted.
It wasn't that Michael wasn't aware that he might die by trying option three but the Idea of being able to Use Magic was something he could not ignore.
Ever since he was a child, Michael would Hear stories from the Orphanage caretakers of how wizards would cast objects from thin air or Transform an old wooden house into a castle with the wave of their hands and Michael couldn't help but be amazed.
At the time Michael wasn't so Much attracted to the idea of being able to make toys out of this air or a house out of nothing if he had such powers.
What really attracted Michael was, what if he could create his own parents and have them take him away?What if he could create a table full of delicious food and no longer have to feel hunger after giving away his food to another kid who missed out on dinner.
What if he could just use magic and go back in time to see what his parents looked like and why they abandoned him.
Now as an adult Michael didn't have many such thoughts left.
But the Idea of being able to Use Magic was still something Michael's heart yearned for.
Therefore, trying not to give it any more thought. Michael asked the system a very important question.
