Chapter: 27 Adaptation, Settlement.
Sounds of agonizing pain could be heard inside the world bead.

After making sure to calm his mind Michael braved into the bailing liquid.
The immediate pain that came from his skin being scalded by the liquid made him want to quit almost immediately.
Soon after blisters and discoloration began to fill every part of his body before his skin and muscles Began to fall from his body.
After a couple of times of his skin regrowing the process accelerated by five times. Then ten. Until the process became so fast that only skin could be seen falling off.
In truth Michael's body was being completely torn apart. Not only was his skin and muscles being replaced but also his bones and tendons.
The process was so fast that the tearing of his skin appeared to be happening slowly.
This process continued for almost the whole night before the Thousands Sand Gold began to take effect.

After taking a look at his stats Michael didn't find anything wrong or too outgoing about his new body maybe except for the increase in his physical strength.

Nonetheless seeing Rose Again After a month of not seeing each other made him really happy and he could help but smile upon seeing her.

"Sure. Why would I miss the man that spent the night with me and my sister before running away with another woman for a month. Only to come back empty handed without even bringing flowers...or an apology."

Listening to Rose's resentful words Michael couldn't help but stop in his tracks.

The one marked in red are those who are using their position in the company to conduct sketchy or illegal operations within the company.
Those in yellow are those who are of little to no use or have not performed to standards.
And the ones marked in green are the people who deserve a promotion or are overdue for one if you pay attention to their names. Some of them have a star next to them.
These people have skills in one area and advise to be transferred to a different position to make better use of their skills.
Also here is a folder full of contracts for those marked in red.

Upon listening to Rose and the specifics of her investigation. Michael had no way to refute the way Rose handled her work.
As for the settlement ...Michael was pleasantly surprised.
It was good to be a businessman but for some reason Michael liked Rose's sense of capitalism.
