The door swings open, everyone turned watching Shiro reenter the room fist filled with familiar dark-hair. He dropped her dead weight never looking back, as he retook his seat.
"Jiro?" All Might rose an eyebrow, "What are you-?" He was cut off by the officers dragging in more people, never having the chance to object to Shiro's harsh treatment against Jiro.
"Hey-!" Midoriya struggled against the officer's python grip.
"Ow!" Kirishima protested.
"That hurts!" Mina whimpered.
"Hands off!" Katsuki warned.
"What on earth is going on here!?" Mr. Principal shot up from his chair.
"Do you have any control over your school!?" Officer Maeda jumped at the chance to insult the stout man.
"Of course, we do." Mr. Principal replied, turning back to the group of students. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Uh..." Mina's brain flatlines as she stares wide eyed.
You didn't care enough to give your attention to the commotion brewing around the room. You stared ahead, arm crossed over your chest. The only view Mina could capture was your sling peeking out from the chair.
"Escort them out of here!" Officer Maeda waved, "They can't be in here with these three!"
"Yeah-" Shiro darkly laughs finally breaking, "-as if we would do something."
"We don't know that!"
"Yeah, you fucking do!" Shiro bit back. "This whole meeting has been nothing but a cheap set up! You're trying to trap our asses for shit we didn't do-!"
"Your criminals!"
"No we aren't!" Shiro slammed his hands on the table, "We are fucking heroes, we saved countless people, including half your fucking staff-!"
Aizawa and Mr. Principal shoved the U.A. students from the room, quickly shutting the door behind them.
"What are you doing here?" Aizawa glared down onto the group, arms crossing over his chest.
"When do we get to talk to her!?" Katsuki stepped forward, ready for a fight.
"When she isn't a subject of being label a villain." Aizawa vaguely answered.
"But she's not!"
"We know." Mr. Principal reinsured. "But we need to convince the police of this."
"You're hurting her case." Aizawa soured Mr. principal's gentle touch. "This is hard, we know but we have to follow the rules and do this by the book."
"But..." Mina muttered, her gaze dropping to her school shoes.
"Or (y/n) will be the one to suffer. Don't you think she has suffered enough?" Mr. Principal tried to reason knowing these students tenacity.
"But-" Midoriya tried but was shot down by Aizawa's hardening gaze.
"It won't be like last time." Aizawa firmly interrupted. "It's not as easy, there is evidence and little proof she was a victim in all of this-"
"We can help-!" Kirishima stepped forward; arms stretched out while his chest felt like it was being pumped with hot air. Just then the group turns to the closed door, hearing commotion stir inside the conference room.
"If she is arrested, there will be no getting her out. Trust us, let us do our job." Mr. Principal turns, his hands resting behind his back hiding the worry in his body language as he quickly returned into the room.
Aizawa turns to the on edge group of young heroes.
"We aren't going to let anything happen to her."
"What if she gets taken again!?" Mina points.
"She won't."
"We-I-I-I have so much to say to her and I-" Mina rambles.
"We all do." Aizawa replied. "She won't be taken on my watch."
"Your watch?"
"I am the one assigned to watch her."
"Really!?"
"Yes." Aizawa nods, "Now get back to your dorms, I'll call you when you're cleared to see her."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
----
The growing noise caused Aizawa to dart back inside the room after having made sure his students walked down the hallway towards their doors. He stepped into the room, seeing Shiro and Gray were out of their seats, auguring back and forth with Officer Maeda. The voices mixed creating static Aizawa couldn't catch.
"What is going on?" Aizawa muttered to All Might who sat back in his chair, arms crossed.
"It seems-" All Might's voice was gritty. "-the HPSC has decided to suspend the Seven bullet's hero license."
"What-?" Aizawa frowned, "-why?"
"There's too much controversy around the hero group-" Naomasa explained, feeling the power lingering inside the Seven Bullets name. "-but they have left their permits intact to perform hero work alongside a pro."
"What good does that do?" All Might wondered.
"Nothing good." Aizawa muttered, glancing towards you who remained expressionless, still leaning against your chair looking unaffected as usual.
"This is bullshit-!" Shiro slammed his hand on the table, turning Aizawa's attention from you. "-we aren't some fucking dogs sitting on a leash for your convince-!"
"They were also ordered to attend the get together a few pro-heroes have organized." Naomasa filled Aizawa in.
"Why did they do that?"
"I guess since their identities were made public-" All Might whispered, eyes never leaving the argument before him. "-a bunch of pro-heroes have been trying to reach out to the Bullets, but Eizo said no."
"Why change his mind now?"
"They were asking questions Eizo didn't like."
"What kind of questions?"
"I'm not sure."
"You're going to figure it out?"
"I tend too." Naomasa muttered under his breath.
"Speaking of him, why did Eizo send his lap dog to this meeting instead of coming here himself?" Aizawa turned to Naomasa, who opened his mouth to reply but was cut off.
"I'm not going." You rose from the chair, ending all conversation in the room.
"Why!?" Maeda growled, "They were your colleagues! People you stood beside and fought with for-"
"Because it conveniences you." You replied, turning to leave the room.
"You aren't permitted to leave-!" Maeda pointed walking around the table as if he could stop you.
"Charge me then!" You snapped, spinning around fire igniting in your veins.
"We-We aren't done-"
"Charge us-" You stated, stalking up to him, the guards standing around tensed causing Shiro and Gray to react moving closer to you. "-or fuck off."
The spinning rage darkening your eyes sent shivers coursing through Maeda and this strange layer of fear coating his nervous system infuriated him.
"You're a killer."
"If we are the killers-" You cocked your head to the side, "what does that make you?"
"I'm going to prove it!" Maeda called as you turned to exit the room.
"We don't hurt innocent people." You replied, craning your neck to gaze at him. "So, you might wanna watch your back."
"That was a blatant threat-!" Maeda belted as you lazily exited the room, leaving Mr. Principal to deal with the repercussions.
"You're going to give us away shitty hair!" Katsuki bit, pulling on Kirishima's arm. The four college U.A. students stumbled hiding behind a corner trying to not be spotted.
"Even I know that wasn't smart." Gray muttered, breaking the tension, as the three of you followed by U.A. teachers walking out of the building.
Mina and Midoriya cooked up a plan, to wait until you walked out of the conference room, knowing you'd be cleared of whatever fabricated charges Maeda was trying to web.
They would casually bump into you and invite themselves over to Aizawa's finally getting time with you, now for their plan to work they just needed to catch up.
The winged shadow lingering over the soft grass caught your prereferral vision. The air gently fluttered through the loose strands breaking free of your braided hair, a peaceful silence collapsed around your group.
Then it all happened so fast.
