Chapter 58 - Unexpected Help

Eros feared for his dear life. Luke flew the shuttle like an absolute madman, enjoying the flight. A lot. 

"I haven't flown for decades!" He happily chirped as he maneuvered through the barrier. 

"I've noticed." The angel had to control his breathing to avoid puking all over the cockpit. Had he been too trusting in this lunatic? 

The shuttle finally came to a halt somewhere on the outskirts of the Megalopolis. Fields upon fields, gold in color, stretched out as far the eye could see. But this did not interest Eros at the moment. Once he was able to exit the shuttle, he dashed off between the wheat ears and hurled out his lunch. 

When the angel finally emerged, Luke was casually leaning against the shuttle. He had switched out his dress for a casual t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. 

"Oh dear me, was I that bad?" 

"Nevermind your driving," Eros huffed. "Where the fuck are we?"
