Chapter 61 - A Date Gone Wrong

Coral could not wait until her day off. Eros had agreed to go out with her, and this fact kept her in such a good mood that even her close colleague John could not bear to work with her.

"I don't know how you pulled it off, but I would like to request you to keep your mouth shut formally," he complained. "One more word about him, and I'll have to puke on the floor."

"You're just jealous," she retorted while wiping the working counter dry.

"Of course I'm jealous. You get to get laid, and I have to accept that my very own ship will never sail."

"G-get laid?!" Coral accidentally knocked the pitcher with some leftover milk over, forcing her to repeat the cleaning process. "I… I don't think we'll get to that."

"Coral, really?" John shook his head. "That guy's not a teenager. He's gonna want more than just holding hands and skipping down the lane into the sunset."
