The Cafe Ramiel wanted to meet Eros in was an upscale place on the other end of Uptown. It took him two whole hours by fast train to get there.
Exhausted from the trip in an overheated and overcrowded railway car, Eros chose a seat on the garden balcony. From here, he had a perfect overview of the entire shopping mile. He even noticed Ramiel in her brown trenchcoat and oversized sunglasses.
"Took you long enough," he complained, ordering a cappuccino for her.
"Sorry, I got stuck with a newbie cab driver who, for the love of everything holy, had no idea how to navigate through this quarter."
"Why did you even pick this Cafe in the first place? It's so far out from our turf."
"Well, you're the one complaining about being stalked," Ramiel snidely remarked.
"Yes, but this is a little overkill."
She shrugged. "More doing, less complaining." The angel then slipped a flash drive into his hand.
