Drew had been going to school for the past two years. He had reached the age of 12 and Drew was happy. Time had flown by for him very fast.
It was a normal school in the harbour town.
Drew was pushed to his limit every single day having to spend time with some insufferable children. He had rejected so many girls and yet they still flocked to him like pigeons like he was an old lady about to feed them bread. He always tried to stay out of the way but occasionally he would have to put some kids in their place after getting jealous despite the fact that he towered over them.
"I died at the young age of 21 and am now a 31 year old man in a child's body... shit that came out wrong... thank God Chris Hansen did not get reincarnated in this world."
It was at this time that he had finished 2 years in a normal school and was about to be sent to a school in the city. He had never been to the city and was currently on his way there with old man Milla.
Once Drew reached the city he just found it to be a normal medieval city just like the one's he saw in isekai animes. "Of course they have to have giant walls surrounding the city." Drew mumbled under his breath. "They would survive well in the attack on titan universe."
Old man Milla slapped Drew's back. "So what do you think? It's your first time in the city!"
Drew's eyes wandered around his surroundings. It was disappointing truly. There was no magical six legged creature pulling carriages, no exotic meats at the butcher shop, no weird merchant who tried to sell aphrodisiac's to people, no magical creatures, no loan sharks threatening people in dark alleyways, no bigtitted milfs, no entitled loli's and most importantly no magic fights.
It was common courtesy that there be some kind of fight ongoing when the main character arrived in the city and he would get information from the fight from a nearby bystander.
In fact the town had more action than this place and was way busier.
"I prefer home." Drew replied.

Drew sat on a desk in a classroom among other kids who were to be enrolled into the school. Drew looked around at the kid and noticed he was the tallest with only one other kid reaching five foot 2. He was a slightly toned guy with white hair. He was sitting at his desk looking around the class frantically and biting his fingernails.
"He must be on crack or something," Drew said to himself. He looked around at the kids who were in groups already despite the fact that it had only been 10 minutes since they came in to the classroom. He could see a bunch of girls who were not appealing to a 12 year old boys eyes sitting together. Some of them wore glasses, some had freckles and bony bodies and some were slightly overweight.
In another corner sat a group of boys which Drew recognized as 'young masters'. They were talking loudly and trying to one up each other as they listed their lineage.
The school in which Drew had been enrolled was a brand new school. It had recieved a good reputation from commoners due to the fact that the school was fair to all of its students.
In this school, outsiders had zero pull whatsoever. It didn't matter whether they were a wealthy merchant, the clan leader of some martial arts clan or an ambassador for peace from another country they were not allowed to interfere with the school.
Many clan elders had lost their positions of power after their arrogance and sense of pride blinded them into threatening the students family. Many merchants businesses went under after they tried to take advantage of the newly built school.
If Drew was to be accepted then he would part of the sixth year class. The school had 6 years and this year would be the first batch of graduates.
As Drew played with a piece of metal making it wiggle and jiggle for him a boy walked up to him. It was the guy who Drew suspected to be on crack.
"He...hey... My... na...me... name... is Austin... what about yours?" the boy extended his hand to shake Drew's. Drew looked at the kid sho was standing above him. His hands were shaking and sweaty and a sheepish, nervous smile was on his face.
'So he's a super introvert trying to make new starts, well no reason to be rude.'
Drew looked the boy directly in the eye who flinched and closed his eyes and opened them back up when he felt Drew's hand.
"I'm Drew Young, it's a pleasure to meet you Austin." Drew let go of Austin's hand who stared at it and shakily walked back to his seat muttering under his breath. "I just spoke to someone... I just spoke to someone..."
Drew moved around his finger shaping the piece of metal. It moved around until it finally turned into a slightly accurate depiction of his face. He had been spending his time doing this as he found it as a good way to strengthen his mind.
The door swung open and in walked three people. 2 woman and a man. They all wore dark blue trousers, dark blue shirts and blazers and dark blue ties. The two woman's hair were in a ponytail. They had clear skin. The only difference between them was the stars on their shoulders.
The man had 4 stars on each of his shoulders while both woman had 5 stars on each shoulder. 'Great, now I will be joining the army.'
The man removed his hat and stood in front of everyone.
"Good morning to all of you, I welcome the newest batch of students to join our school. My name is Ezekiel John, I am part of the prefect council and behind me are my teachers. To my left is Ms Ladil, and to my right I have mrs Gozo."
" There are several tests for you to pass but before that I need to explain the most important rules to you. The most important thing in this school is fairness. So it does not matter if you are a tailors son, a demons daughter or a tyrants grandchild all of you have the same amount of rights in this school. So if any of you are planning on abusing your family name then you can forget about it and just leave already."
"Our students are dear to us so we will not tolerate abuse of any kind. If you are found abusing a student or found abusing your family name to gain an advantage over the students then you shall be expelled. I truly hope that all of you try your best. Thank you all. Before we get to the tests Mrs Gozo would like to add a few words."
It was a really akward silence so Drew started clapping which led to more people clapping.
