"Only 40 experience points." Drew sighed disappointedly. He was expecting more since the bear was the apex predator in this forest. "But still it kind of makes sense, from the old man's stories there are fantasy like creatures that exist so 40 experience points must be pretty generous."
Drew shook his head as he cursed his impatience that he lost the 50% extra experience points he could have gained had he waited for a slightly stronger opponent to appear.
Drew climbed down the tree slowly and carefully. He stared at the bears corpse before an idea came to his head. Relatively speaking it was a pretty simple plan. He would use the bears corpse as bait and wait for other creatures to appear and then he would kill them.
His plan worked as two more bears walked into his trap.
He quickly killed them like the unfortunate bear that first fell to his trap.
-140/150 experience points.
"Only 10 more experience points to level up, I should go for something easy and simple. I can't just keep hunting these bears otherwise the ecosystem of this forest will collapse. Besides even if I did there is no guarantee that the remaining experience points will move over to the next level."
Drew silently and stealthily walked across the forest, avoiding any danger or trouble, heading home. As he was walking he saw several bunnies. There was a large group of them. Some were grazing on grass, some were reproducing and some were just sleeping.
They were able to do this because there were no predators in sight.
"Not so lucky now Wabbit." Drew smiled as he folded the metal sheets into small shurikens. He was not able to do this without folding them physically as he was still not that well versed in construction.
"Since I don't know how much experience points I will get for each rabbit I kill, I will need to kill 10 of them at once just in case they give me only one point." Drew moved the shurikens in front of him with the help of the wand.
He hid the shurikens in the grass and they moved slowly towards the rabbits as if they were predators.
Drew made sure that all ten shurikens were near a rabbit. He made sure that the rabbits were also not pregnant or parents.
SCHHHIIIKKK!
KCHIIIK!
The shurikens sped up and sliced through the grass cutting the throats of several rabbits and embedding themselves in their bodies. 10 rabbits dropped dead almost immediately. The execution was swift and painless.

Drew added all 7 status points to his intelligence.
-Intelligence: 22 ---- 38. (each status point increases status by 2 points.)
-Mana pool: 44-------- 76 (mana pool is dictated by intelligence so it will increase when intelligence increases.)
Drew stood up and decided to test out his abilities. First and foremost would be the dash skill.
_____
Drew was 10 years old and he had grown well. He had reached an amazing 5 foot 4 considering the average height for 10 years back in his world was below 5 feet.
He had grown well into his clothes and developed some muscles. Drew was trying to build a heavy bulky body. He knew brawns was not everything but it helped greatly. He looked a dwarf who spent a lot of time crafting to develop muscles except he didn't have a beard.
He stood in front of old man Milla in a stance. For 3 continuous years old man Milla had been teaching Drew some form of martial arts.
He called it 'Isi Von' but truth be told it was just a mixture of kung fu and karate which Drew instantly recognized since he had watched a lot of martial art movies.
It was tough on Drew's young body and so many times old man Milla would stop training him as he could not bear to see his adopted son in pain. He would only continue the training after much convincing from Drew.
"That is enough training for today." Old man Milla said. Drew let down his stance and grabbed his sides which were aching.
He laid down on the ground and smiled as he felt proud of himself. He always did after training. A sense of accomplishment filled his heart.
It was like seeing that first vein bulge out after curling iron in the gym after after a week or so. Or like losing 50 pounds of body weight just in time for prom, or like actually figuring out the fnaf entire storyline all by your self, or like finally beating Sans in undertale, or like... ok you get the idea.
Old man Milla sat down next to Drew.
"I have something to tell you Drew." Old man Milla said.
Drew sat up as he heard the seriousness in his voice. "What is it?"
"Well you see Drew... you are growing up fast. A bit to fast if I say so. I remember the day you were born, it was the happiest day of my life but also the saddest day of my life. Your mother, may she rest in peace died when she gave birth to you."
'Oh yes, he thinks I don't remember anything from my baby hood.' Drew thought. Old man Milla had been telling him this story ever since he was a child to protect him but Drew already knew the truth. He found him in a dangerous place all alone and he adopted him.
"Truth be told you seemed more like a man than you a child. You had all this wisdom, confidence and even experience as if you witnessed the horrors of the world... Drew, I have taught you the best that I could, I have taught you a lot but not everything I know. Which is why I am enrolling you in school."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"Why though? Can't you teach me?"
"Because Drew all though I want you to stay with me I am your father, I have a responsibility to get you ready for this world. I can't have you spending all your days in this small area. You don't even go to the town with me. I am sending you to school to make friends and learn how big the world is. A mother bird can only watch and support from a distance as her chick leaves the nest. Do not think that I am sending you away from me because I hate you. I am only doing this out of lov-"
Old man Milla stopped speaking as he noticed Drew's expression change. It was quick and stayed like that for a while. The face of a man filled with nothing but hate and anger. Then he went back to his normal expression.
"Okay." Drew said.
"What?" Old man Milla replied caught of gaurd by the reply. He was expecting some sort of argument.
"A chick has to leave the nest sooner or later to stretch it wings, learn how to fly and soar in the sky. I will go to school."
