Even Alec, on the other hand. I mean we can fake right away since we were already there last night, but he even called for another day just to everything that he has date. Was He really that kind of person that is difficult to be with? Because I totally agree.
Chace: His father needs to see that, that's why we are pushing him to attend some blind dates
You: What do you mean?
Chace: He didn't tell you?
I snort, If I could only tell him that we did nothing but argue that night, but no.
Chace: It's some sort of family tradition, so as a friend, we were just breaking it in behalf of him
That, I didn't know what to reply. After that conversation, my thoughts wander from time to time. Is there some sort of problem between Alec and his father? Does his father thinks he is gay?!
I checked my messages after that and I was bombarded by my how many missed calls and voicemails, and chats I have received from my girlfriends. They were totally worried about me, and they wanted to go to my 'condo' to visit me, fearing that I'd kill myself because I was in brokenhearted.
Stephen, I miss him.
I shrugged my thoughts and bit my lip. No, Jade. I deserve a better man, Just like how Malcolm told me. I'll work for my future. It's time for me to get matured.
So after I was done meditating, which is a joke actually because my father nags more than my mother and any mother in the world, that's where I had a courage to open my phone and reply to their messages.
Aubrey: Wanna hang out after the practice?
Jameeka: Bitch, you alright?
Aubrey: Whoever that dude, he sucks, let's go grab some daddy
That thought made me smile. I may not be real bitch, but having a bitch friend and you have this kind of conversation, where they comfort you in this way, swear to god, this is the best. I'd still end up choosing them. It's just that, people just misunderstood them sometimes as bad bitch. Bitch and bad bitch is totally different.
'Oh, sorry I can't, I've got a date afterwards,' I replied.
Aubrey: Oh my god, no way
I laughed. 'Hell yeah.'
Aubrey: From what I can remember, it should be three month rule, not a three day rule! How come you were able to book a date just for three days after you caught your boyfriend cheating with another low class cheap woman?!
You: Duh
Aubrey: Girl, I hate you, grab it
You: The what
Aubrey: You know what I mean xoxo
And just like that, these girls, although I hide to them that I have a boyfriend, still they accepted me and even cheered for me to go for blind dates to move on, not knowing that I already attended one.
I went back to school and finally talked with my girls. I shared to them that I am ashamed of introducing Stephen to them because of his social status and they just told me he deserved it. When the reality is, I really loved him. It's just that, Stephen cannot wait any longer.
"If you want, then I can call my daddy tomorrow one of his bar around North Hill. We can hangout till we drop, and ignore Eava's practice because she is a bad bitch," Aubrey suggested.
We were currently at the cafeteria, and luckily we have no practice for Cheerleaders Guild, so we have enough time to wind up a little.
"That's the coolest thing that you suggested to me," Jameeka commented, crossing her long legs while sipping right on her frappe.
"Do you want to visit it right now by any chance?" She giggled.
"Sure!"
"Let's go!"
We were about to stand up uniformly when my phone rang. So the girls waited for me to pick up. But it was actually an unknown number.
"Who is this?"
"Are you available right now? Dinner?"
I was shocked to figure out the moment that I heard the voice over the phone. It was sexy, and husky, and it haunts my brain up until now. Right at that moment I had no other person that I could think of except him.
I clasped my right hand to shut my mouth, Because I was about to spill his name, which is a very wrong idea because currently, Jameeka and Aubrey is staring at me, exchanging glances.
"How did you find my phone number?"
"It was placed on your social media platform." He said, all good and calm. Good thing he cannot see me right now, being nervous because honestly I am getting intimidated again! I'm almost shivering!
"You mean, dinner...the plan?" I asked.
There was a moment of silence on the other line before Alec replied.
"What else do you think I'll be asking you for a dinner just for nothing?"
"Okay," I rolled my eyes. Seriously, this guy needs to learn some manners, I can sense he was born bitch sometimes.
"I'll be waiting," he said, then hung up the phone call without even waiting for my reply. I gripped hard on my phone. Damn it, I'm losing my temper!
"Ooh, that's saucy," Jameeka said. "New boyfriend?"
"Girl, told you, boys are chasing you. So don't you dare cry nor get dramatic," Aubrey added. "So what now?"
"Yeah, actually someone invited me to go for a dinner date."
"Sure, go for it!" Aubrey even clapped her hands, totally supportive towards me. "I will be sending you photos of the bar, for now me and Jameeka will be the one visiting it. Keep in touch!"
I smiled as I watched them walk away. I am so happy I've got friends like them.
And as my usual routine, I went to Malcolm's apartment to grab my dress and my pouch. Just as I was about to leave, Malcolm was right in front of the door, and was about to enter.
"Jesus, you're hot."
"I know," I chuckled.
"Where are you going?" He said, eyes can't take off me.
"Off to seduce someone," I said, before leaving his apartment.
