"I think you're going the wrong direction," I said, upon noticing that we turned to right.
"No, we'll get you some proper dress first," he said.
"What?!" I looked at my dress he said that. "Do you know the brand I am currently wearing?"
"Do you know what kind of girl I am dating?" He said. That made me blushed in embarrassment. "And we will be taking photos together with that kind of suit, Chace would really doubt, because he know I don't need girls who wear short dress like that."
I bit my lip. I feel like my face is getting hotter. Doesn't he want sexy girls? Because on my experience, guys like girls wearing fitted dress.
It turned out pretty an awkward so I just remained silent after that. The way I walk, I seduce, even my fashion statement, still, nothing impresses him. Now I wonder what type of girls he likes.
We stopped at one mall nearby and the staff automatically bowed at him. I followed his back and the staff turned their gaze on me, gossiping. That's where I realized I might look like Alec's girlfriend in their minds. Well at least my efforts are not getting wasted after all. So I hop in and walk beside Alec, but he didn't even turn his face to look at me. He just proceed to one clothing line and a woman automatically greeted him the same way how the staff did.
"Magandang umaga, Irina." He said, "kuha mo naman ako ng maayos na damit para sa kanya." (Good morning, Irina. Get me some proper dress for her.)
I was left staring at them. Alec looks so sexy speaking foreign language, And he seemed to be very fluent. The woman replied and he just simply nod. I wonder what's going on.
"So you really is serious in changing my outfit?" I said. "You know what, if you really have gone into dates, you, as guy should be complementing my dress, like you know, that's what they called flirting." Then I rolled my eyes at him.
That's where he stopped, and that made me stop from talking too, as if I said something wrong.
Alec moved his face closer to me, and whispered.
"I don't like the idea of other people sexualizing you." He said, in a very serious manner.
And that was the very first time he made me blushed. All of the sudden, my heart went beating fast, and it feels weird. Did I heard it right?
"If I am about to compliment your dress, then I would like it to be an honest opinion," he paused, running his eyes on my body. It send me unwanted chills, and I felt like thirsty for some reason I can't explain. "I'd like to compliment you in the most respectable way. Not like that."
His words had left me dumfounded. What's worse is, the series of this beating went even louder and faster, so afraid that he will hear it.
So Alec...he was really gentleman and caring after all. Maybe I just judge him when we had our first encounter, but to be with him...I never thought he can do this kind of action. And it melts me.
That's where I snapped back to reality. Bitch, Jade, what are you feeling? Why do you sound like you're the one getting seduced? Ugh! How's the plan, now?!
Irina went back and gave me a fitted sleeveless top, a coat, and a trouser. It was classic, elegant, and professional. And honestly, I can live wearing this, without adding some accessories. It looks extremely expensive upon wearing as well and it helps me look even taller. I love her taste.
When I showed myself to Alec, he didn't even reacted at all. He just simply nodded and tell me to follow him again.
"Why didn't you pay her?" I asked, out of curiosity.
"My father owns this," he simply said. My eyes went bigger and I started roaming my eyes around the mall. So that's the main reason why all the staff know and bow to him! Oh my god! How rich this man can be?
After a couple minutes of driving, we finally arrived at the restaurant. There was a huge fountain outside and it was so beautiful I can take my eyes off it. Alec, on the other hand, just continued walking, never really the type of man who waits for her girl or clings to it. Just as how it is, attended to be present for fake date but outside than that, he will do nothing, you guys are completely stranger...civil.
So I took the urge to break the wall between us, at least. I mean, if we are faking it, why not enjoy it as well?
"Alec!" I called him. "Let's take a photo here!"
He went back to me, eyes completely cold. "What are you doing? Let's go inside."
"You need proofs right?" I said, "then at least having one photo would not kill us. Come on, you take me to a date so that I could do my job. Let's do this."
Alec look elsewhere, unsure of what to do. So I lead him near the fountain, pull up my phone and went closer at him. I intentionally put ny cheeks at his face like we were very closed to each other and I felt his body stiffed a little. And since I've never been closer to him like this, I also took the opportunity to rub my chest at his arm a little, but not in an obvious manner. This way, I could do my job and seduce him at the same time.
"One, two, smile!" I said, then click the camera button. Alec suddenly pull his body away from me after taking a shot. That's where I knew, that he felt it. Good job, Jade.
I look at the very first photo of us, and since I was good at faking everything, I seem to be very happy, and in love, while Alec on the other hand, still lacking of emotion.
"Hmm," I said, "we don't have the same energy."
"One photo is enough."
"No, let's take one more." I said, then something came into my mind. "This time, You have to cooperate with me."
"What do you mean?" Alec asked. I smiled.
