Rachel rushed to the laboratory after receiving a shocking report from Sylvia that Alan had stopped breathing and had to be put on a ventilator. The cause is thought to be due to the gene-microchip system not working.
"How could this happen? Hasn't everything been done according to the procedure and passed multiple checks?"
"Yes, Ben. We're still investigating whether it's due to his body's response or a technical glitch," Sylvia answered. She was not on duty in the control room. No wonder she was confused.
"Investigate the root cause and find a solution today! I will send Denise to help you!"
Sylvia just nodded and rushed towards the control room. Ben had been more talkative than Rachel ever since, as Rachel only quickly checked Alan's condition in room 13.
