Niels does not dare look at Rachel, who folded her arms next to him. The girl looked at him intimidatingly, with her breath still panting after walking briskly from the lobby to the room. Niels never expected her feeling would be so strong until she knew that Niels was hospitalized just from a changed voice.
Rachel finally pulled out a chair and sat down. "Tell me, what happened? You've been sick for two weeks and haven't called me?"
"Not that long. I've only been here two days."
"Ah, so you don't have a job and can only contact me?" Rachel drew a quick conclusion, and Niels couldn't help it. "Sorry, I didn't know you were waiting for that call," he said.
Rachel smiled lopsidedly. She could not understand the innocent man in front of her. "Yes, Niels Geyer. I always wait for your call, and every word you say means a promise to me. Do you understand now?"
"You were the only one who dared to dump me," Rachel continued.
