Combustion
A large ball of fire blew up in Zero's direction, but it didn't deal with damage on him as he continued to charge towards Gilmont.
He dashed forward and swang his sword for Gilmont's torso, but he just dodged the attack and appeared behind Zero.
Zero sensed his presence and swang the sword to slash Gilmont's neck, but the demon dodged the attack and was now underneath Zero's sword.
He clenched his fist, and with a wide grin on his face, he punched Zero's side, sending him flying into a wall.
"Not bad, kid. But you do realise I haven't left this circle since our fight started."
Zero winced in pain and looked around the area that Gilmont was standing and let out a small smile.
"He is mocking me. I guess he has the right to, but I won't allow myself to lose here." Zero thought as he stood up, gripped his sword tightly, and pointed it at the demon.
"Prepare to die, Gilmont of Gluttony."
Meanwhile, Nero, Wilsh, and Neon were helping everyone get to the emergency exits with help from Mr. Lewis. The students were confused about the entire ordeal, but they could feel a menacing presence throughout the academy, so they hastily made their way to the exits.
"Alright, the east and northern wings are cleared." Said Nero to Mr. Lewis over a communication ring that Mr. Lewis handed them.
"Good, I'm clearing the west wing, and I'm going over to the southern wing. What about the girl dormitories?" Lewis asked through the ring.
"Yanis, Yuri, and some other girls are helping evacuate the girls." Replied Nero.
"Alright, go and give them a hand if you're finished with there." Ordered Lewis.
"Alright." Responded Nero before the three boys ran over to the girl's hostel.
"I hate to have a first year fighting that demon, but he is buying us sometimes. He just has to hang in there till the Angel 1000s get here." Lewis said inwardly as he continued directing students out of their dorms.
On the other hand, Zero was still fighting the demon. His speed had improved from the start of the battle, but the demon was faster, dodging all his attacks with ease.
Zero yelled a battle cry as his sword scratched on the ground while he was running, realising sparks as he ran.
He dashed forward and lifted his sword above his head and swang for Gilmont's left arm, but once again, he dodged it landed on his palms and swang himself, kicking Zero in the gut. The kick was so powerful that broke Zero's spine before sending him flying in a wall once again.
"You're quite resilient, kid. I must give you that, but you do know demons don't fight like that."
Zero tried to stand up and immediately realised that he couldn't feel his lower body. He looked back at Gilmont, who was completely undamaged like he wasn't in a fight at all.
"Then why don't you tell me?"
"Hmm, I would, but I'm in a rush. If you aren't going to regenerate and come at me, then I'm sorry, but I'll have to end this fight right here."
Gilmont then raised his hand placed on the ground.
Combustion
Suddenly, the area where Zero began to glow red and the area blew up in a large explosion that began to shake the girl's hostel.
"What the hell is going on?" Yanis said, holding onto a wall as the ground below her began shaking for a moment before everything calmed down.
"What the hell was that? An earthquake?" Asked Yuri.
"Hey Yanis, are you okay?" Yelled Nero as he ran over to Yanis.
"Yeah, I'm good. What are you guys doing here?"
"We came to help in evacuation." Answered Neon.
"Thanks, we are almost through, though, just remaining with the northern dormitories." Said Yanis.
"That's great." Said Nero.
Yanis looked at the three boys and noticed that some people were missing.
"Where are Alexander and Zero?" She asked.
"Um, Alex is with Ms. Mai is getting Mr. Kentai's help and Zero is um.... he's fighting the demon."
Yanis' eyes widened from shock." This is no joke, Nero. Where is Zero?"
"Why would I be joking on such a matter? Why do you think the demon hasn't come to attack us?"
Yanis couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Well, let's not make his efforts go to waste." She said as she guided everyone to the northern dormitories.
Gilmont looked at the rubble with a smile on his face before letting out a sigh.
"Disappointing. And he had a lot of potential. Guess I should get going."
He turned around and looked at the hole Zero created, but before he could jump through it, he felt a menacing presence behind him.
"Shit. He's still alive." Gilmont said, looking worried. He formed fireballs behind him in a circle and turned to Zero's direction but didn't sense any movement.
Just then, the rocks began to crumble as Zero slowly emerged from the rubble, his sword gripping tightly in his hand. He looked at Gilmont, who immediately began sending the fireballs flying at Zero.
The fireballs blew up in Zero's direction, forming a large firey explosion that Zero blew away with the swing of his sword.
The two looked eyes. Gilmont's smile had left his face, and he looked more weary while Zero looked in different. Just then, Zero vanished, and a gust of wind followed.
Gilmont's eyes widened. He could feel Zero's presence behind him. He turned to him and saw that Zero's sword was covered in blood, his blood.
He looked at his left hand and saw that it had been sliced off.
A wide grin formed on his face. "Not bad, kid. Guess I sort of underestimated you."
Zero didn't say anything and instead launched from the ground and stood on the ceiling before launching off of it, aiming his sword for Gilmont's head.
"Let me show you the strength of a demon, kid." He grabbed Zero's sword with his right hand, his left hand regenerated and the demon's markings glowed a firey red before delivering a heavy blow for Zero's chest that sent him flying through the hole he created.
He broke Zero's sword before launching into the air and swinging his right leg for Zero's side.
Titan Kick
The powerful kick landed on Zero's side, sending him flying into a building and knocking him out.
Gilmont looked at Zero's unconscious body and chuckled.
"Some unkillable roach. Doesn't matter." He looked around and saw all the buildings of the Academy. "Looks like they've made some changes from the last time I was here." He said before inhaling deeply and cupping his hands around his mouth. "BOROLLO!" He screamed, getting everyone's attention.
"Is that Gilmont of Gluttony?" Said a boy.
Lewis looked outside and saw Gilmont floating in the air.
"Even though he's weaker than that time, he's still very menacing." said Lewis as he let out a small nervous chuckle.
He quickly began speeding up the evacuation, and as he was getting the boys of the southern arm out of the hostel, Gilmont was still calling for Borollo, though in vain.
He looked around at the children getting evacuated and noticed some very powerful children in the hostel.
"Hmm, there's some interesting food here. Can't wait." He said while salivating.
He began to move closer to the children, evacuating and right before he could dash to them. A large spike of blood went through his torso and pinned him on the walk behind him.
"Ah, the fuck." He cursed looking at the person that sent it. "Oh! If it isn't Kentai, the Bleeding God." He said with a wide smile on his face.
"Gilmont, long time." Said Mr. Kentai standing on the spike.
"Indeed. It has been long. Hey, Kenti, could you call for me Borollo, please?" He asked kindly.
"You know very well that I won't do that."
"Come on, I haven't waited twenty years to fight a junior bring me an angel 1000 that will actually be worth my time."
"As a matter of fact, I am an angel 1000."
"Really. Congrats, Kenti, but I don't want you I want Borollo and you know why."
"Borollo isn't here."
"Then take me to where he is. Come on Kenti, I thought you were smart."
"The only person you are fighting today is me."
Gilmont face formed a wide grin. "Is that so? Guess I'll have some fun with you."
Zero, on the other hand, was unconscious on the floor of the training block.
"Hey Ms. Mai, isn't that Zero?" Said Alexander as he stopped and began walking over to Zero's body.
"Oh my God, he's incredibly injured. His arms and legs are shuttered. Help me get him to the medical centre."
"Okay," said Alexander before carrying Zero's body on his shoulders.
The two of them with Zero's body began running to the medical center as everyone else was busy trying to get all students out of harms way.
