"Borollo, you're here." Said Kentai, relieved to see the old man's grey moustache.
"Of course I'm here. Sorry for being late, Kentai. Seems like Gilmont has really made work of this place." Borollo said smoking on his cigar. He then flicked the cigar and looked up at Zero. "Looks like I made a good gamble once again." He chuckled.
"But sir, he's a demon."
"Oh, is he." Borollo said sarcastically. "Of course I knew that. I'm surprised you didn't."
"Well, um..."
Borollo chuckled. "How about I make another bet?"
"Another? With me?"
"No, with the elders."
"You don't have to be sarcastic, you know."
Borollo remained silent, but he had a dangerous look in his eyes.
"You're serious. Oh! You're serious."
"Kentai, go to the ground. I've got to destroy this thing before it destroys more of my school."
Mr. Kentai flew to the ground and watched Borollo carefully. Mr. Borollo then called out Zero's name and told him to leave it.
"Huh, Mr. Borollo, you're here. I can't leave it it'll destroy the school."
"You're not doing anything, kid, and are you seriously underestimating me."
"I'm not just that, Mr. Kentai couldn't destroy it..."
"Wow, you're really underestimating me. Alright then, it looks like I'll just have to teach you a lesson." Borollo said before a large spinning wheel appeared him with blank slots with numbers on them. "Let's see what it'll give me."
The wheel began to spin, stopping at a black triangle with the number 7 that made a box appear before him with the number 7.
"Number 7, really." He opened the box and reached his hand in pulling out a long sword with a golden handle and religious imagery curved onto the blade.
Eternal unit: Slot 7, Excaliber
He swang the sword vertically, and in an instant, the large meteor broke into pieces that farther desintergrated into dust, including Zero's arm and Kentai's sword.
Zero was in awe. He fell to the ground and looked up at Mr. Borollo, whose incredible power had also split the sky.
"I hate Slot 7 it's overkill." He landed onto the ground next to Zero. "Hey kid, are you okay?"
He asked. "It's okay to regenerate it. I know what you are."
Zero's eyes widened, but for some reason, he wasn't surprised. His hand regenerated quicker than usual, and this amazed Borollo. He was about to ask about it but sensed a presence behind him.
"You're still alive, Gilmont." He asked, still facing Zero, who was surprised that Gilmont was alive.
"I used that last of my unit to regenerate so that I can fight you." He said, gasping heavily.
"You're far too weak to fight me, Gilmont. Just die again."
"And know that I was bested by you. Impossible."
"Is that so? Then let me fulfil your wish." Borollo slashed him using Excaliber without even looking at him, turning his body into ashes that blew away with the wind, but the attack also cut down the academy main building. "I hate this slot so much."
Zero was terrified he looked at where Gilmont once stood, and there was nothing else other than ash.
"The slash didn't even reach him." Zero said inwardly. "How cool."
Borollo put the sword back into the box that went back into the wheel before the wheel disappeared.
"Kid, can you stand?" Borollo asked.
"Yeah, I can." Zero answered.
"Good, because you're under arrest." Borollo said before knocking Zero out. He then turned to Kentai and handed Zero over to him. "Take him to the dungeon. We're gonna have an execution." He said before lighting lighting his cigar.
"What do you mean? What are you planning?" Asked Kentai, confused.
"That's nothing you should worry about. Just do it, please." He flew up into the air. " I have to get back to HQ. Oh yeah, before I forget." He pulled out a pink stone he threw onto the ground. "Hancock gave me that. She said that it'll help repair the damages."
"The stone fell to the ground, and Borollo then dashed off. Kentai looked at the stone, confused. Suddenly, a pick array formed, and in an instant, the damages were fully repaired, almost like a battle never happened.
Nero and Yuri saw the building around them get fixed up and go back to normal. Everything was repaired, but the people who had died remained dead.
Kentai locked Zero up and shackled him up in godchains that inhibited his demon abilities. He then went to the safe area and informed the rest of the students that the danger had been dealt with.
The student who had evacuated came back to see that the school was in good shape. Except for those killed by the demon's intimidation.
That night, a burial was held for the angels that had died, and their bodies were burned. Forty-two out of the eighty angels that were in the academy at that time had died. Twenty girls and twenty-two boys.
"Mr. Kentai." Called out Alexander. "Where is Zero?"
"He's in the dungeon." Answered Kentai sternly.
"In the dungeon for what?" Asked Yanis.
"I understand that he is your dear friend, and in these past three months, you must've created a unique bond, but Zero is a demon."
"What do you mean?" Asked Wilsh in shock.
Everyone was shocked, except for Nero and Alexander, who had known already.
"It's at least good that he's alive." Said Yanis happily.
"Zero is a demon that has infiltrated our school. As of now, the higher-ups are deciding what to do with him, but it seems like he'll most likely get executed." Said Kentai.
Yuri, who was easedropping on the conversation, walked away angrily.
"You can't execute him. He hasn't done anything wrong." Said Nero.
"Even though he hasn't, he's a demon. All of them must die." Said Neon, coldly.
"And besides, his life is in the hands of the higher-ups." Said Kentai.
"Alexander, you've been quite quiet. He was your rival." Said Wilsh.
"Rivals are made and ended. We can't think about one person's fate. We've lost more half of our fellow students to a demon. Rather than focusing on Zero, we should make sure that we are strong enough to never have to experience such a thing again." Alexander said.
"Well said, Alexander. Now, everyone, let's head back to our dorms. This ceremony is complete." Said, Mr. Kentai.
The students all went back to their dormitories. Nero reached his room and fell onto his bed angrily.
"How did I become friends with insensitive fools? They can't see that Zero is chill."
"You do know that that mentality could kill you." Said Alexander.
"Oh, Martin Luther. I didn't know you were here."
"Quite being childish. Don't you think it's hard for me to accept that he's a demon."
"But does it matter, though?"
"As a matter of fact, it does. We angels are meant to kill demons, not house them."
"Have you ever thought of the possibility that some demons are nice and some angels are evil."
Alexander looked at Nero with a conflicted look on his face. "Good night, Nero. Get some sleep we have training tomorrow."
Alexander left the room and went back to his room, which was now a single person room.
That same day, the angel 1000s and angel infinites had a meeting to discuss the fate of Zero.
Borollo walked in smoking his cigar as usual with Kentai by his side.
"Greetings, kind ladies and gentlemen." He greeted. "I see the Elders decided not to come."
"You know very well that they won't come for your convenience, and they view this matter as trivial." Said one of the angel infinites.
"Those guys are real sticklers. Anyway fuck them. This meeting doesn't need them anyway."
"What have you called us here for, Borollo?" Asked one of the angel 1000s, a female.
"Yeah, crossing earths is quite exhausting so I hope this isn't one of your silly games." Said another angel 1000, a man.
"Oh, I didn't tell them?" Asked Borollo facing Kentai, who shrugged it off in ignorance. "Well, kind ladies and gentlemen. I'm here because a demon has infiltrated my school as a student by the name of Zero, and I'm here to request an execution."
"Zero, isn't that the angel 0 we had heard about?" Asked one of the angel infinites with a robotic voice.
"Indeed, and as wonderful as he is, a demon must be executed by all means. So do I have those who agree with me."
The angels thought about the decision, but eventually, most of them put up their hands except for four of the angel infinites and two angels, 1000s, Borollo and Kentai.
"Hey Borollo, what the fuck? You bring up the motion and oppose it." Said one of the angle 1000s.
"I have my own reasons, thank you. But it appears like the majority vote wins. On the full moon making the third month, we will execute Zero in front of all the angels of Gaeya."
The meeting came to an end, and the angels went back to their where they came from.
"I don't know what Borollo's planning, but he can be quite a handful, right Kentai." Said one of the angel 1000s, a female, who was wearing a mask.
"Ms. Hancock. If you are trying to bring up the other offer, I still decline it."
"Oh, I admire your loyalty even to the gambling god, I'm jealous. Anyway, it looks like there is no convincing you. Good night, Ken."
The angel sprouted wings from the back and flew away. Leaving Kentai alone in he meeting room.
"What are you planning, Mr. Borollo?"
In Zero's cell, he had gained consciousness, and he tried struggling free from the shackles until a large figure of a man appeared in front of him behind the bars.
"That won't break them. Not all things are handled with force, kid."
"Mr. Borollo. What did I do? Why am I here?"
"You seem very calm for a demon in an area occupied by angels. Do you think I'm not gonna kill you?"
"Not quite. Just that if you wanted to, I would have died already."
Borollo chucked." And I'm called a gambler. Listen kid. I have one question for you."
"What is it?" He asked curiously.
"What's your goal?"
"My goal..." Zero thought about the question.
"My goal is..."
After a short while, Borollo left the dungeon and went to his office and began laughing hysterically.
"That kid is so interesting. Shame, I would have wanted to see how he would have achieved that." Said Borollo as he lit another cigar and leaned on his seat.
