"What the fuck…." The boy whispered with fear and confusion in his voice, as he stared at the unconscious Gerald lying on the ground. He then turned to look at the rest of the students, who weren't even sparing a glance at the fallen Gerald, and his eyes widened even more.
'What on earth happened when I was gone?' The boy adjusted his glasses and gulped down his saliva before entering the classroom.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
He stood in front of Gerald's desk and glanced at the rest of the classroom. When he found that no one was looking, he took another gulp of his saliva before walking towards the unconscious Gerald, stopping right in front of him.
He stared at the unconscious body of Gerald for a few seconds, after which he took a deep breath and swung his feet with intense force, aiming straight for Gerald's abdomen.
WHAM!
Gerald's body shook a bit, but he remained unconscious, and the boy with glasses walked back to his desk and sat down in his seat, his expression now showing relief.

"Whoo! That was fucking epic!" Jacob screamed out loud as the two boys walked through the hallway. Mark watched with an annoyed expression on his face as Jacob did a victory sign and a fist bump up in the air.
"I still can't believe I actually fought that fucker!" Jacob spoke with a cheesy grin on his face as he made punching motions in the air. "And I can't believe that I actually won against him! Fuck yeah!"
"Calm down, Rocky. You've fought just one person. We still have a lot more to go.." Mark said as he grabbed him by the shoulder and shook Jacob lightly. "Ah, yeah, right, right…"
'Wait a minute.. Didn't Mark just have his first fight as well?' Jacob wanted to ask. But in the end, he chose not to do so.
"So, who're we beating up next?" Mark asked as he pulled Jacob by his shoulders and pulled him closer. "You're going to be the one who's fighting, so you'll get the chance to pick your next opponent."
"Oh, um…" Jacob placed his hand under his chin as he began to think. His eyes then widened, as though he had finally found an answer.
"Did you pick someone?" Mark tapped him on the back as he asked his question.
"Yeah, yeah…" Jacob, although sounding unsure, nodded his head. "I think I did."
He then stared at Mark and narrowed his eyes, which caught Mark's attention.
"What is it?" Mark asked with a raised eyebrow. "Don't tell me that it's me? Because I'm sorry to say that I can't help you with that."
"Uh, yeah no.." Jacob let out a short sigh in response and shrugged his shoulders. "It's just.. this power that you helped me receive.. it feels too sacred to be handed over to someone like me. So I was wondering, why on earth would you share something so valuable instead of keeping it to yourself?"
Jacob finished his words and then turned to look at Mark, only to find an annoyed expression on his face, which made him confused.
"Uh, did I say something wrong?" Jacob didn't know why Mark had an annoyed expression on his face.
"Uh, yeah!" Mark closed his eyes and shook his head as though he was disappointed with his friends, and Jacob, for some inexplicable reason, suddenly felt the urge to punch him.
"You dumb fuck! Didn't I tell you before?" Mark decided to explain the reason for his reaction. "I'm a literal fucking god! Why the fuck would I care that you learned like, the basics of mana usage? That is like a chef getting mad at someone who's just cooked his first dish! It doesn't make any sense!"
Mark turned to look at Jacob after he finished speaking, only to find the same annoyed expression on his face.
"What?" Mark asked, only for his eyes to widen with realization the very next second. "Motherfucker!" He cursed out loud before softly punching Jacob on the chest. "You still don't believe I'm a god, do you?"
"Well, I mean…" Jacob didn't really give a proper response, and Mark shook his head again. "Even after the whole mana teaching thing?!"
"Don't get me wrong! That was actually really amazing.." Jacob said as he scratched his cheeks before continuing, "It's just.. that and being a god are.. you know… very different things.."
"Yeah, no shit!" Mark said with frustration in his voice.
"I mean, maybe a mage, or a sorcerer… I don't know about a god.." Jacob wanted to continue, but Mark interrupted him. "Alright Mr. I-need-to-see-more-to-believe, maybe I should take that power of yours back? How does that sound to you?"
"... God it is, then." Jacob said after a few seconds of silence and imitated a praying motion, and Mark had a smug expression on his face. "There we go. That wasn't so bad now, was it?"

On the rooftop of the school building.
"Ugh, I can't believe I lost to that loser…" An injured and frustrated Derek said as he rubbed his knees and thighs while sitting on the floor with his back leaning on the railing.
"I mean, if it makes you feel any better…" Jaxon scratched his nose and spoke with an embarrassed smile on his face. "...We also lost against the loser. So you're not alone, Derek."
Derek raised one of his eyebrows and stared at Jaxon and Richie, who both nodded their heads in unison.
"Why the fuck would that make me feel any better, you dumb fucks?!" Derek screamed loudly and grabbed Jaxon's collars, whipping him back and forth, shaking him. Richie on the other hand immediately created a bit of distance from Derek, afraid that he'd do the same to him after dealing with Jaxon.
"AHHH! I really want to beat the crap out of that loser! Fuck!!" Derek said with a frustrated voice as he continued to shake Jaxon violently.
"If you really want to take down the loser, then you might want to do it quickly…" All of a sudden, a calm and composed voice echoed in the air, and everyone's eyes turned to the staircase, where a figure enveloped in shadows stood.
"The fuck did you say?" Derek asked with an annoyed expression. He clearly didn't like being told by some stranger about what he should do.
However, this wasn't some stranger..
"Come on, now… Do you really want me to repeat what I just said, Derek?" The young man spoke in a condescending manner as he stepped out of the shadows, and Derek's eyes widened, his expression now turned terrified.
"Ma- Mason… I didn't- I didn't recognise.." Derek began to stutter as he spoke, not able to find the right words in time.
"Don't waste any time by trying to speak, Derek." The young man, Mason, interrupted Derek's attempts to apologize and waved his hands around. "Just take care of that loser who beat you. I don't want any changes being made to the hierarchy right now. It's too annoying to deal with. Do you understand?"
"Ah! Yes!" Derek said as he gave a short bow, and Jaxon and Richie both did the same.
"Good," Mason nodded his head, and then pointed his finger at the staircase before continuing, "Well then, what the fuck are you standing there for? Get the fuck out of my sight!"
