There are several mercenary guilds in the GreyForest Town which come under Clark Barony. Baron Clark also lived near the town and was a good friend of Lucia through her wife. He cared for her family and had always indirectly helped them, when he heard of the entire matter he quickly sent many knights.
The knights were supposed to mediate between the fight and bring back Alvis home safely however when they reached the scene they were shocked. A man was punching the other, even after ordering many times the man didn't stop.
But after a few seconds, he finally got up, the knight quickly moved and surrounded him.
" Are you Alvis Lucent?" A knight asked.
" This man is dead," Another knight confirmed, it was quite clear just by looking at even the flesh was sticking to the floor the face was squished with constant heavy punches.
The mage woman was standing scared,
" You will come with us." The knights said as they grabbed onto Rex.
" What? he killed Guild Master. Who is he?"
" I will go but don't you dare touch me," Rex said and then finally left the place with the knights.
The entire guild was suddenly in chaos, the other officials were in shock as they saw the murderer being taken away. For them, Rex was not someone they had seen for the first time.
" What did I do? Why are you dragging me into this? Hey you, say something." The mage shouted.
" She is not with me."
" She is the witness, she has to come with us."
Many people saw the commotion in front of the guild, they have all become aware of what happened. By the end of the day, the news spread throughout the Town.
Red salamander is one of the biggest guilds in town and having many mercenaries was shaken by this incident. Gary was a strong mercenary even among A Rankers, Many saw this as an opportunity for their mercenary guild. Some even celebrated this event as they had many grudges against Red salamander.

Lucia was sitting in the baron's house, Alle was also there. In front of him was the baroness, never in her life, Lucia had thought that Alvis would kill the Leader of Red salamander. She was suspicious about the man, but she denied every negative thought. She wanted to believe that the man was Alvis because if not then it would mean that his real son is dead.
She had sealed her lips and would not talk about this to anyone else. The Baroness was trying to calm Lucia down and listened to everything that occurred.
" Whoa, Alvis did that, I remember him, he was not this aggressive. Alas, the war has also changed him." Baroness said in a regretful tone, " However, you don't have to worry. Our man reached him first before the mercenary guild could take action. He is in our custody first and we will try our best so that this matter does not go to court. Besides those bastards deserved this, they are all just some criminals."
" Don't say that Amy, The matter is out of my hand, I could have handled it easily if he had killed someone other than the Leader. It will be a war against the mercenary guild if this happens."
" You are too spineless, Roy. Learn from the boy, Someone just touched his family once and he had done something that others won't even raise their eyes in hostility ever again."
The Baron had always been a coward type person and has always submitted to his wife's wishes. However, this case was completely different, His hands were tied, Red salamander has the backing of several other guilds and connections with many merchants.
" By the way, I had heard of your son that he was too injured from the war but my knights reported him to be a very handsome and strong man."
" Yes, he healed using some kind of potion." This question raised one more flag of doubt in Lucia's head and it was the last straw, she had realised one thing that is there is no way her son could acquire something like that. She can not just play ignorant to this. " Can I talk to him? Please, I need to talk to him."
" Please calm down Lady Lucent, we can not allow that."
" The least you could do is help her with this much."
" Umm–" The baron thought, " I will be breaking a law but fine as long as no one else knows about it."
Lucia's heart was beating too fast because of how anxious she was feeling. She can not bear the pain in her heart that was because of her doubts. Meanwhile, Rex was dealing with his problems, he had thought consequences of talking with Alle.
The Baron would be able to protect his family for a few days. He had several merits which granted him a pardon for a crime as long as it's not something inhuman. Murder committed for revenge is also pardoned, he had the documents and had kept them safe with Alle which must have reached the baron.
However, when the deed was done he was having the second thoughts about his plan. It was not well thought out as he expected, he had greatly underestimated the influence of Red salamander. He had come to this realisation after talking with his inmate who was the mage that witnessed the entire incident. She was constantly cursing at Rex, even though Rex had apologised for getting her involved. The reason why she was involved, is because the Baron wanted to throw the blame on the mage somehow.
