I haven’t spoken to Adrian since our argument.
It’s been a couple of days, but I’m still hurt knowing that my own husband—whatever he might think about me—won’t take my side when he saw me use my powers to heal Sheila.
He can’t go against a pack member? That’s just an excuse.
Despite us sleeping in the same bedroom, with me still on the floor on a makeshift bed, I refused to speak to him.
I could see something behind his eyes, like he wanted to say something, whenever I was around. But I was too mad to give him the time of day.
I want things to work out between Adrian and me, but still, I’m upset.
I’m hurting, and he isn’t there for me.
Most people in the pack are on Sheila’s side and are harassing me. Every time I try to explain my side of the story, they brush me off.
