After the weird conversation with Miss Eloise. I decided to get some sleep. The plan was to attend the summit and rob the blood diamond then destroy it. Easy as it sounded, I felt like it had so many faults. What if we meet a progenitor? Atreigon said they are five progenitors that govern the supernatural world, meaning that there are four remaining. I have already seen what Celeste can do, it was very clear the other three could do something similar or even worse. All these thoughts made me wish I had Atreigon to talk to and he tells me not to worry because he's the greatest phoenix to ever exist.
I rolled myself on the bed in almost all positions trying to get some sleep. But each time I tried to Miss Eloise's words sounded in my mind like a record on replay.
'the darkness is coming, and we may not win this time' she said. This was going to lead to something bigger that connects the human world with that of the supernatural. I could feel it.
I faced the ceiling then I felt an odd presence in the room I was in. I felt like a person had just passed nearby me.
The cold feeling that gives goosebumps had grown all over me.
I couldn't sleep.
I heard Sandra's voice call me from the other side of the bed.
"Hey," she said,
I turned to face her and she was real. She was lying down with me and we were facing each other eye to eye. Though her body was glowing gold.
"Am I imagining you?"
"Of course, not, dummy. This is a piece of my soul that resides within you. And when did you catch feelings for me?" she giggled.
And my face turned red. I stuttered, "No...I don't,"
"Yes, you do,"
"No, I don't"
"Yes, you do."
"No…I…enough. Why are you here?" I asked
"I have come here in your bed to warn you before you head to the summit,"
"You need to know that a progenitor's power grows stronger each time it is passed down depending on the person chosen. And you, in particular, are overpowered meaning that the progenitor's power within you has grown stronger and harder to control,"
"So what are you insinuating?"
"Am saying that if you need to destroy black magic that strong using the progenitor's power. You need to learn how to control the power itself. Because if you use such magic it will not just destroy the diamond," she explained,
"Then what am I supposed to do?"
"I want you to stop the darkness before it comes," she smiled and caressed my cheek," if I gave this power to my brother Tlavacus wouldn't be standing now, the darkness would win just the oracle said."
"The oracle…who's the oracle?" I was confused on another level.
"If told everything how will you start your journey," she said, "I will be inside your soul to help you when you discover your true potential and purpose. Just remember at the summit tomorrow if things don't go as planned flee back to the human world and warn the ministers about the diamond. Tell them that it's a key to the Evil gods."
I nodded. "Okay,"
"Good luck," she said. "I will be around if you need me…"
She vanished.

Time moved so fast and the summit was already here. It was going to take place at the city hall in Alum. All the progenitors were going to attend including the standing in Fey progenitor, Argus Drake who is Sandra's younger brother. And next progenitor by birthright.
William had assessed us through the whole plan enough times. Which involved me doing nothing apart from standing in the crowd outside city hall as I waited for them to steal the diamond and rescue the girl, which was my only request. I agreed because without Atreigon I don't think I can control my magical powers at all.
The plan involved me, William, Nancy and Ned when they arrive and two other changelings. One was a tall black boy with dark brown eyes and a body of a surfer. His name was Kirk and he was half a troll.
The other was a girl. She looked slightly older than him. I am guessing fifty or seventy, I don't get how the aging system works. But she looked older than him,
She was wearing a back tight vest that displayed her huge biceps and triceps. Her hair was red and was cut to shoulder length. She looked like a true warrior with scars scattered around her arms and stitches next to her neck. Her name was Petra, and she was a half-fairy.
She noticed me staring at her.
I turned away instantly. "Oh shit," I cursed.
I felt a strong hand land on my shoulder and the first thought that came to my mind was Petra.
But I was wrong when I turned. It was Kirk.
"Human boy," he said. His voice was very loud and deep, he could have been a coach or trainer with how loud that voice was.
"Yes," I said, trembling.
He was holding a black leather scabbard carrying a sword. He put it forward and waited for me to get it.
"I am not very good with using swords," I grinned nervously.
Kirk first stared at me. Then smirked like he thought I was joking. "Human boy must use the sword in case something bad happens," his English wasn't so clear but I got what he meant.
I accepted the scabbard, then pulled out the sword. It was a double-edged silver sword, with a black hilt that glowed like a waxed surface.
Surprisingly, the sword was almost as light as Atreigon hence it will be easy for me to swing it into an enemy monster.
I pushed it back into the scabbard and thanked Kirk for the gift.
And then heads back to his activities.
I wore the cloak William had given me, to help me hide as a supernatural within the crowds. The cloak could change the appearance of a person into anything they wanted.
Once it was on, I was transformed into a fairy with a transparent pair of fake wings.
A teleportation ring appeared in the room.
"Let's go" William commanded and ran into it and vanished.
Kirk and Petra followed.
I stalled for a while, staring at the portal. My hands were shaking from fear of what Miss Eloise said, this wasn't going to be as easy as it sounded.
I walked through.
-- I was now in a huge crowd of creatures dressed like humans. We were outside a huge building that was guarded by even bigger monsters at the entrance.
They had fangs, wings, and claws. Some were just big wolves holding spears in their hands.
There was no sign of William or the others. The mission had already started. I just hope this works out and I can get away from here.
The sky was infested with air crafts that kept on torching down and scanning through the crowds may be for security reasons. Meaning I had to keep the hood on.
From a distance, I could see satyrs dressed in suits and reporting live news.
"My name is Baldric Tots. LNL news. We are here live at the emergency summit meeting of the progenitors and the entire world is currently anxious to hear their final decision on the blood diamond." I could hear what he was saying thanks to magic.
Come to think of it. Almost everyone here looked anxious and scared. Is this how terrified they were about the diamond?
"--I heard that humans are the ones who had the blood diamond--bah-aha." one of the satyrs behind me spoke while making goat noises.
"--I bet they are the ones who stole the progenitor's power, bah-aha-- those power-hungry humans--"
I felt like stepping into that conversation but that will blow my cover.
I felt a sudden rush across my spine. When someone or something in a cloak the same as mine crossed behind me.
My instincts went wild and I could feel the rapid increase of evil within the air. The hair on my body rose as my senses went bizarre.
I started to follow the cloaked figure through the crowd. Until we were suddenly out of it.
The figure made a left turn and entered the street then into an alley.
"Who are you?" I produced my sword and the figure stopped.
It turned and pulled off the cloak and under it, was a girl….a human girl with a tattooed body, and purple-colored hair. She was in a combat-ready bodysuit. And she seemed to have a wicked smile glued to her face.
She had terrifying green snake eyes that she had fixed on me.
"Surprised to see me, Ralph Tally?" she hissed after seeing the shock on my face. "we haven't even started."
BOOMMMM!!!!! There was an explosion at city hall. Followed by screams and cries of nearby civilians.
I turned around and ran to go help but I found myself slamming into an invisible force field that was keeping me in the alley. This was their plan all along. this is why they sent a demon into my mind. I had to help the others
I faced the girl. "What do you want?"
She snarled, "You thought we don't need the girl," one of her tattoos materialized to form a green double-edged magic sword.
I sighed.
"Fine,"
I charged forward and did the first thing I thought; swung the sword. It slashed through the air aiming for her head.
But she dodged my armature attack by simply sidestepping to the right.
She quickly recovered her balance then swung her sword and the tip was able to rip through my shirt and cut the surface of my stomach.
"Nice reflexes," she mentioned then cast a magic circle that produced lightning.
Time slowed down.
I saw the lightning coming, but I was frozen. It struck me, and I was sent flying into the force field and dropping my sword in the process.
I peeled from the field and then landed flat on the ground with my face. My body sizzled like roasted meat. I was even surprised I was still alive.
She approached me and bent down to get a clear look at my misery.
"My name's Lydia by the way. And as much I want to kill you, the master wants you alive," she said.
