(William Turner and Nathaniel Tiffin are just friends I swear ●-●)
-chapter 3-☆
William waits in the front. The rain was pouring hard even though it was sunny just few minutes ago. "Damnit I forgot my umbrella" he said as he put his hand out touching the rain.
"Why don't you just call your dad to pick you up" a voice spoke behind him. William quickly looked behind him only to see Nathaniel.
"Oh I thought you took the bus?" William asked as he smiled unconsciously at Nathaniel.
Nathaniel rubbed the back of his head, "Well- I kinda missed the bus."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
♤
"Meh, it's alright. You should call you mom to come pick you up, because it doesn't seem like the rain is gonna let up anytime soon."
William clenches his teeth, " She...she's...I can just call my dad..."
"Is she okay? Did something happen to her?" Nathaniel asked.
William looks away, "uhm...she's...she's not here anymore..."
"Ah, I'm...I'm sorry."
"It's fi-"
Nathaniel leaned in and hugged William, "It's alright Wills."
William smiled, he hasn't really shared that part in his life. Even if it was a long time ago.
After a few minutes a car pulled up. "That's my car, see you Wills" Nathaniel said as he began walking towards the car but then he stopped and looked at William.
"Do you want a ride? I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind," Nathaniel asked.
"Oh sure, thank you!" William said as he walked towards him.
-
"He was sooo mad at you! It was actually really funny!" Nathaniel laughed, "Adam thinks he all that, I'm glad you put him in his place this morning."
"Oh, you heard about that?" William asked nervously.
Nathaniel snorted, "Of course I heard about it! Everyone's been talking about it. I just wish I was there to see it."
"I mean, it wasn't that cool..."
"No need to be humble young man," Mrs. Tiffin said, "I heard you were bullied like Nat was. That kid had it coming."
William looked down, embarrassed. Nathaniel laughed and patted him on the back.
William suddenly looked up, "Wait, Nat? Haha, that's so cute!"
Nathaniel's eyes widened. William laughed as he pushed him away.
-
"Alright young man, we're here," said Mrs. Tiffin.
"Uh, yeah. Thank you, ma'am." William said.
Nathaniel handed him his bag, "Bye Wills, cya tomorrow!"
"Yep, bye Nat," William quickly shut the door, running up to his house.
Nathaniel froze, his face slowly turning red. He put his hands against his face.
His mother laughed, "I didn't realize you two were so close."
He looked at William unlocking and walking into his house, "Yeah, I guess we are..."
-
The sound of crying and running pierced the air.
"Hahaha! I love the smell of blood in the rain!" A voice said.
"Please, please! Please don't hurt me! Please, please just don't hurt me! Please I won't say anything! Please just don't hurt me!" A second person sobbed.
Lightning flashed, illuminating a person looming over another. The person standing above the other was wearing mainly pink and black clothes. Their hair was short and brown with two dyed blonde streaks at the front. They had piercings on their lip ears and nose. Their eyes were widen and they held a bat above their head.
"You want me to not hurt you? You want me to let you go? ...What make you think that YOU can tell ME what to do? Hahahaha!"
The sobbing figure, now on the ground cowering, grabbed the standing person's ankle and began to beg.
"Major...major please...don't kill me..."
Major looked down the the figure with disgust, and looked away.
An object slammed into Major's knee, making them drop. The figure stood up and quickly ran away.
"AAAAAHHH!!" Major screamed in frustration, "GET BACK HERE!! NOW!!"
They yelled, chasing after the figure. Major slowly got closer and closer. Major finally caught up and grabbed them by the neck, throwing then into a nearby tree.
The figure let out a cry of pain, huffing and gasping for air. Major, once again, loomed over them.
Bat in hand, Major screamed as loud as they could. Major swung the bat from above their head, landing smack down in the center of the figure's head.
A sickening crack then crunch echoed through out the forest.
Major panted, blood splattered across their arms, face, and clothes.
Aq
They looked up at the slowly lightening sky and felt a sense of relief and satisfaction.
Their work was down for now...
-
William stood at the curb, staring at the police tape that wrapped around the entrance of the forest. He was slightly surprised they hadn't shut down the school, the forest practically surrounded the whole place.
He overheard the police say the scene was deep in the woods and they needed to question the students about the murder. It was easier to just have all of the students go to the school than rather track them all down.
Besides getting interviewed, the theorizing about who died, and the police being around, everything would be normal.
William stared at the police slowly clustering more and more by the entrance of the forest. The ambulance backed up into the grass. The police seemed to be making a shield around something they were carrying out of the woods.
He took a step forward, trying to see. William immediately stepped back, his breath slowly getting more quick and shallow.
They were bringing the body of the forest. William could see the blood leaking from the bag and onto the grass.

A sudden tap on his shoulder awoke William from his trance. He turned around to see Nathaniel.
"Are you okay Wills?"
"Uh.. yeah..yeah" William said, looking away.
-
He sat at his desk with his head down. He felt like his body was numb. He wanted to go home. He didn't want to think about that day.
Nathaniel was concerned for his friend, he'd been distant all day. He wanted to make him feel better, but he didn't know how.
He stared at William and thought for minute. Then an idea popped in his head.
He slammed his hands on his desk making William jump in his seat.
"Is everything o-" Nathaniel interrupted "Let's hang out tomorrow how 'bout it? Just you and me. I'll buy you a nice lunch and we can go to the park or something." He said with a smile on his face.
William couldn't deny.
