Adam has had multiple people throughout the day try to pick a fight with him. Did he fight them? Honestly yes, yes he did. But this isn't his fault, no it's that stupid dog's fault. William is the one who went all psycho for no reason. Sure he may have bullied the dog a little but doesn't mean William gets to just beat the shit out him.
He glared at William who was just a few seats ahead of him.
-
William had felt chills running through him. It felt like someone was silently cursing at him. He rubbed the back of his neck out of discomfort. He spotted Nathaniel from the window. William smiled as remembered that he was going to see Nathaniel later.
He felt butterflies just thinking about it. With Nathaniel he felt like he could get his mind off of all the recent events that have happened over the week.
William was immediately drawn out of his thoughts when his teacher started to speak.
"Okay class we are going to be heading down to the lab to see what chemicals react to fire. The safe ones of course."
William had completely forgotten about that. He quickly shuffled out of the room along with the rest of the class. He accidentally caught a glance of Adam.
He looked kinda pale and nervous? Which was confusing to William. He's never seen him that way before. Nobody else had seem to notice. In fact he noticed that nobody really talked to Adam.
William scoffed who would want to talk to Adam after everything he has done. Once he reached the lab door he noticed two things. One he and Adam were the last ones here and two that meant him and Adam had to be partners. Does the universe have something against him?
He sighed and sat down at an open desk. He looked over towards Adam. He seemed a little out of it and his leg was bouncing uncontrollably. Was he alright?
"Okay class you will need blah blah chemicals and then you will conduct the experiment by turning on the fire"
"I'll grab the chemicals" Adam said as he stood up. William didn't even get a chance to retaliate before Adam walked away briskly.
"I guess I'll just sit here then."
When Adam had come back. He noticed him shaking a little.
"Adam? Are you al-" William was cut off by a sudden outburst from Adam."Ju- Just Shut up and start the stupid thing."
William sighed and just started the flame. He jumped at the sudden sound of glass shattering. His eyes widen at the sight. Adam was pale, shaking horribly, and his breathing fast and uneasy. His leg was bleeding through his clothes.
-
Adam felt like a train had hit him head on. His leg was bleeding but he didn't feel anything. His head was pounding and his legs felt like jello. His mind was racing and his heart was pounding against his chest. His throat swelled up he felt like he was unable to breath as if someone was choking him.
"I- shit- I'm.. sorry- I didn't mean to I- fuxk" those seemed like the only words Adam managed to wrangle out. His hand gripped tightly on his shirt while another was gripping his hair. God was it always this hot in here?
Everything just seemed to have stopped making sense. His vision wasn't picking up on anything. He knew what was happening to him. He knew why too.
-
The teacher quickly rushed over. She looked annoyed by the mess rather than concerned. She didn't question anything and only asked William to take Adam to the nurse's office.
-
The words "I'm sorry" and "I didn't mean it" were repeated all the way down to the nurse's office.
There was a paper taped to the door. "Sorry I'm out for a meeting, come back later!" William groaned. As if in hell he could come back later.
Lucky for him he knew the nurse never locked her door. He quickly opened it and made Adam sit on a chair that was nearby the door.
Adam was still shaking uncontrollably. He was pale and looked as if he was about to cry. 'Is he having a panic attack?" William thought. He only knew very little about them since he's only had a few in his lifetime.
William grabbed a couple of bandages and a up of water. "Okay Adam breathe- Calm down, do you understand what's happening to you?"
Adam nodded his head. He tried his best to control himself but he just couldn't. "I'm sorry- I-" Adam stammered.
"It's okay Adam, just drink some water." William said as he grabbed the cup of water and handed it to Adam. "I'm going to go ahead and wrap your leg up, okay?"
Adam nodded as he took a sip of the water shakily. William winced as he wrapped Adam's leg, it looked so painful. He'd still probably need to go to a doctor to have stitches placed, but bandages would have to do the trick for now.
As Adam drank water he slowly realized the situation he was in. Anger and embarrassment fueled his veins. How dare he look weak in front of this dog. Halfway through William bandaging up his leg Adam pushed him away. Not too harsh but just enough to make him stumble a little.
William was shocked by Adam's sudden outburst. "Adam?" William was still unsure if Adam was okay or not but by the looks of it he seemed fine.
"Get out" Adam mumbled out
"What?"
"Leave, I can handle the rest." Adam said as he took the bandages out of William's hand.
William just nodded his head and walked out of the room. He and Adam both knew that they would never mention this moment ever again.
-
Nathaniel skipped down the hall. He couldn't wait to see William. He already had their date- no day planned out.
He walked out the school doors and spotted William. He walked slowly up to him to scare him. Disappointingly enough William showed no reaction besides a smile.
"Oh boo I was supposed to scare you" Nathaniel pouted. William laughed.
"Sorry for taking your fun away from you, Say what are we doing today?" William asked as they began walking off the campus.
"Oh I was thinking we could drop off our stuff at my house and then we go out for some coffee."
"Alright then, Shall we go?" William smiled; he would be spending a whole 6 and half hours with Nathaniel.
"Indeed we shall."
