The next morning I woke up trying to remember last night what happened and how I got this bandage around my arm. I didn't think long before panicking. 'What if my mom did this and she knows, what if it stresses her out, what if she puts me out because she cant handle the stress of a 4 year old and a suicidal teenager.' as i thought my heart sped up and my stomach was doing flips. But that didn't stop me from getting ready for school at 5:50am.
First, I got my clothes from the backroom and put them on without bothering with brushing my teeth or washing my face. I put on my glasses and got my keys that had my blade in the pouch. My shoes were next then my huge jacket to cover my arms. Once that was done I didn't bother trying to make something for breakfast. I told my still sleeping mom I was leaving and she did her normal "have a good day" so I went along and left to make it to my bus stop.
Once I got there I immediately went into the woods by the sidewalk and went to my sanctuary- a large space with a huge Mongolia tree near the entrance and an old box thing in the middle. I walked up to the tree and poured the entire water bottle I took with me in the middle of the trunk, where I normally put the offering. Then I sat down on the box and pulled out inkheart and started reading. 3 minutes later I heard the familiar 'pshh' of the bus's brakes on the far side of the street. I made my way back out front avoiding the animal holes and small twigs. Getting on the bus I put on my best fake smile and greeted the bus driver and sat down in my seat. Once again I pulled out inkheart and began to read.
After the bus stopped at my school I got off and started towards the library. A sudden need to look up plagued me until I looked at the trees on my left and I swear I saw a flash of green and black. I dismissed it as a bird and continued walking.
I arrived at the library and read inkheart until the bell rang. My first period was pe today so i went my usual route but again the mysterious feeling of someone watching me crept up my spine. Looking around I swear I saw a tuft of green hair in the crowd but it disappeared just as quickly as it appeared.
I took my usual route to the gym with my school-sister Kara. I told her about the experience I had last night and not being able to remember it. She told me in a satirical tone that maybe an anime character was stalking me. I laughed placidly and raced her to the gym.
