"Really? I think you're the one with the problem, you don't seem to like anyone."
"How...how can you say that?" I fumed.
"I like you." I defended.
"Whose talking about me? Again you're wrong for the second time today." Sara said as she facepalmed herself.
"I'm talking about boys, you've never told me about your crushes... wait I forgot you've never liked anyone." Sara stated with a sigh.
"And who told you I've never liked anyone before?" I asked her.
"Wait...are you saying you like someone." She said, staring at me.
"Is it Joshua?" She asked grinning.
"No, how can you think of that?"
"I just guessed, sorry." She apologized, laughing.
"It's not funny." I protested.
"Okay I'm truly sorry this time but wait, how did aunt allow him in?" Sara asked raising her brow in question.
"I don't know, she just agreed for him to come." I shrugged.
"Really?"
JOSHUA'S POV:
As I came out of the kitchen, someone suddenly blocked my way and I looked up to see Evan.
"What do you want?" I asked impatiently.
"Why are you doing this? I warned you Mason...I warned you." Evan suddenly blabbed on.
"Wait...I don't understand what you're saying?" I asked, giving him a confused look.
"I'm talking about Ariana, I told you to stay away from her."
"If anything happens to her I'll make sure you regret it for the rest of your life." He threatened.
"Hey! What's wrong with you?" I frowned.
"Aren't you ashamed of yourself, you're obsessed about a highschool student." I scorned.
"Hey! What it or else I'll rip your tongue off." He threatened, his eyes red with anger.
"We'll see about that." I scoffed. "You can't do anything."
"Okay then, I challenge you...the one who can make Ariana his will win." Evan smirked.
"Not interested." I said flatly.
"What do you mean?" Evan frowned.
"I'm not up for any challenge or bet or anything and especially not with someone as dirty minded and foolish as you are."
"How-"
"Brother are you fighting again and that too with Joshua." Sara said as she walked over to where we were.
"You two should stop fighting and brother he's Ariana's guest for crying out loud."
"We weren't fighting just some casual talk." I smiled and left.
************
"Evan, we need to talk." Ariana stated once she stepped out of the kitchen.
"Why? Is there a problem?" Evan asked, standing up from the sofa.
"Not really! We need to talk...urm... upstairs." Ariana said as Evan slightly nodded and followed behind as the two of them headed upstairs.
"What could those two be up to?" Sara whispered to Joshua but it seems he wasn't listening.
"Joshua." Sara called.
"JOSHUA!"
"Uh...huh." Joshua said looking at Sara.
"Are you alright? Have been shouting your name?" Sara asked with worry.
"Me? I'm fine." Joshua said as he shifted his gaze back to the stairs.
"Really? Then why are you staring at the stairs?" Sara asked, curiosity in your eyes.
"Nothing... it's nothing."
"Oh my! When will you two stop lying to each other." Sara groaned in frustration.
"Meaning?"
