I walked into the parlour holding dad's hand, when mum suddenly walked out of the kitchen placing a bowl of chicken soup on the table.
"darling, you're back!" Mom said rushing to hug dad.
"did you miss me love?" Dad asked and gave her a peck on her cheek.
"yes so how's work?" Mum asked blushing like a teenager who had seen her crush.
"work was fine." Dad replied.
"hello I'm still here." I replied, it's always annoying anytime they act all lovey-dovey. It disgusts me.
I left the couple and headed to the table, sat down and opened the bowl, the aroma of the soup hit me and a grabbed a smaller bowl and began to dish my share about to headed upstairs.
"Aria baby where are you going with the bowl let's eat together?" Mum suggested.
"mum I'm busy I'll just eat upstairs why you and Dad have time to yourself." I said and headed upstairs to my room.
After lunch, Sara came by with her brother Evan. when they arrived I went to welcome them.
"bestie!" Sara screamed when she entered the house.
"Sara love!" I screamed back and ran to hug her.
"so how's school?" Evan asked me and I replied all was fine.
"come in." I said and we all sat down on the couch in the palour.
"so any juicy gossip about your school?" Sara giggled.
"no just made some friends with my roommates." I replied.
"I'm not talking about that, I mean the boys are they handsome?" Sara asked blushing.
"I guess they are." I said and faced my attention on Evan. He looked quite mature than the last time I saw him.
"so Evan how are you doing, I mean long time?" I asked nervously.
"yeah I'm back from the state and finally home to complete my studies." He replied.
"Ariana guess what?" Sara asked.
"what's there to guess?" I asked her
"you're such a bad guesser,so the thing is we're moving house and it's likely we come to royal high." Sara screamed, holding my hands.
"OMG really, I'm so happy can't wait to see you here." I replied happily.
Soon night came and Sara and her brother left living mom and I in the palour.
"I'll just go to bed." I said about to stand up when mum stopped me.
"love you've been acting quite distant since you came, what's wrong you can always tell mum?" Mum asked softly.
"nothing mum I'm just busy goodnight." I said and headed upstairs to my room when my phone suddenly beeped and a message came up.
"did you enjoy your day?"
"who sent this message?" I asked myself but I decided not to think much and block the number.
JOSHUA'S POV:
"It was half past six when I had my dinner at the cafeteria with the boys and headed to the hostel. I decided to message Ariana but it's been quite sometime now what's wrong?" I asked myself.
I tried sending another message but it didn't go through, she must have blocked my number. I said angrily and threw the phone across the room which woke up the boys.
"dude why aren't you asleep?" Sebastian asked.
"guy it's that girl!" l replied angrily.
"don't tell me it's Ariana, what about her?" Jake asked.
"she blocked my number, how dare she!" l fumed and the boys where staring at each other.
"joshua do you like Ariana?" Sebastian asked in a serious tone.
"what a joke I'm joshua king of girls why would I fall for a girl like her." I sneered.
"fine but you don't look quite good." Jake added.
"I'm good let's go back to sleep." I said and turned off the lights.
