As I was pulled through the door, my feet drug the ground and the door slammed shut. I tried to wiggle out of his grasp, but the more I wiggled, the tighter his grip got. He chuckled and as I looked back at him, a smile played across his lips. Thumps came from the door followed by B and Lamia calling my name, sounding muffled. I looked at the door and rage rose within me again. "Put me down." I yelled at him. He only laughed, still dragging me towards the table in the corner of his room. I planted my foot, lifting him off the ground suddenly and bringing my wings out. "I said put me down." I repeated calmly as he finally let go putting his hands up as if I was the aggressor, "I was only going to set you down in the chair." he said in an English accent smooth as honey pointing to a chair lazily leaned up against the table. His eyes caught the fire playing on my feathers and a devious smile broke across his face. I crossed my arms and slowly backed up against the door. As soon as I touched it, the red melted away revealing another golden underlay. Lucifer's eyes flashed a look of something that I wasn't sure of but my attention was taken when hearing Lamia and B right outside and I called to them, "I'm fine. Go to the void and I'll join you when I can.". "No" I heard B reply, "We're all staying right here until you come out." he continued. Lucifer seemed offended by his attitude contorting his face he yelled, "You would actually believe that I'd hurt my future Queen?". He held his hand against his chest as if he had been struck in the heart. "She's not your Queen!" Lamia replied back muffled even more than B by the door. Coolly Lucifer replied, "She's given you your orders, if you do not obey, I will slaughter you all. Including you Mika'il. I have not forgotten of your strikes during my fall.". At that point the door went quiet and Lucifer gazed over me like a predator ready to pounce on his prey. "You know, I do wish you would stop changing my décor here." he said as he walked over towards me and the door to inspect it. I moved out of his way to the right. His gaze followed me and he leaned against the door, "So it was not my father but you who I saw in the void.". I nodded a small yes to him, not letting my guard down for a second. His eyes seemed to become even more crimson with a flash before returning to normal before he leaned in near my face. I drew back and a smile played on the side of his mouth. "And you killed Belphegor?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at me. I nodded a small yes again before backing away from him further. He put his arm up behind me, landing it on the wall softly, blocking me from moving away from him any longer. He leaned in again, a soft look reflecting off of him when he asked, "And how did you manage that exactly?". I shrugged my shoulders. He seemed to get frustrated with my responses. "Can you maybe speak to me?" he asked softly. I looked up at him and nodded 'no', a small smile playing on my face now but my eyes full of anger. His eyes became sullen and he drew back, walking over and sitting at the table. He turned the chair towards me, asking, "How'd you get your wings to do that?". I shrugged my shoulders again, studying his face. He was a very well looking man, stubble roaming along his chiseled chin. I made a second of eye contact with him before I broke the gaze looking around the room. A large bookshelf lined one wall up to the ceiling where opposite of it sat a large bed with posts. Books covered in dust were strewn everywhere and the bed looked in pristine condition as if it had never been used. The chair squeaked as he leaned forward resting his hands on his knees. As I looked at him, he motioned for me to sit on the bed. Seeing my expression, I'm sure he sensed my distrust as he began speaking, "Since you won't talk to me, I'll just talk to you. It's been quite a while since I've had an immortal creature be able to keep their humanity. You know, Mia, demons can be very cruel things especially when it comes to the heart.". "What about Eve?" I whispered looking at what his reaction would be. Sadness coated him for a split second and then his aura became deadly. He was to me and looking down at me within a split second. "Don't talk about her." he spit, pain coating his words. He turned and went back to his chair, turning it to face away from me. I put my wings up but my marks remained. Lucifer grabbed a few books off his shelf and set them at the table where he began reading. After he had them set up how he wanted them, he spoke softly, "Mia, you are more than welcome to roam the halls. Everyone knows who you are and they will give you the utmost respect here. You are safe and no harm shall come to you, I will make sure of that." I began to stand up and move towards the door when he interrupted my escape, "but, you will have rules. You will be my Queen. Lilith will train you in what's expected. You are not a prisoner here. You will, however, return to my quarters every evening.". Lust filled his eyes and I rolled mine. Confusion coated his face once more before his eyes went flat and he waved his hand, pulling the door open for me to go through. I curtsied being a smart*** and took off down the hall to the void.
